Ben jij een ervaren accountant die graag verantwoordelijkheid neemt over een volledige boekhoudafdeling én energie krijgt van het begeleiden van een team? Dan is deze functie misschien iets voor jou.

Voor een stabiele en internationale organisatie zoeken we een Senior Accountant die de boekhoudafdeling in de regio Roeselare mee aanstuurt en instaat voor de correcte en tijdige verwerking van de volledige boekhouding.

Jouw verantwoordelijkheden:

  • Je draagt de eindverantwoordelijkheid voor de algemene boekhouding en diverse financiële projecten.
  • Je coacht, motiveert en begeleidt het boekhoudteam (10-tal collega's) en verdeelt de taken binnen de afdeling.
  • Je werkt zelf operationeel mee aan de maand- en jaarafsluitingen, rapporteringen, btw-aangiftes en jaarrekeningen.
  • Je bewaakt de correcte en tijdige betaling van leveranciers.
  • Je staat in voor diverse boekhoudkundige, fiscale en wettelijke aangiftes en documenten.
  • Je volgt de boekhoudrekeningen nauwgezet op en zorgt voor een correcte verwerking en reconciliatie.
  • Je verzorgt de wekelijkse accijnsaangiftes en maandelijkse btw-aangiftes.
  • Je volgt de openstaande leveranciersposten op en onderneemt actie waar nodig.
  • Je maakt financiële rapporteringen en analyses op, voornamelijk in Excel.
  • Je behandelt boekhoudkundige en financiële vragen van interne en externe contacten.
  • Je werkt mee aan verbeteringen en projecten binnen finance.
  • Je beschikt over een bachelor- of masterdiploma in een economische, financiële of boekhoudkundige richting.
  • Je hebt minstens 5 jaar relevante ervaring als Senior Accountant, Hoofdboekhouder of in een vergelijkbare functie.
  • Je hebt ervaring met het aansturen en coachen van een team en beschikt over sterke peoplemanagementvaardigheden.
  • Je combineert een hands-on aanpak met een sterk verantwoordelijkheidsgevoel.
  • Je werkt nauwkeurig, gestructureerd en zelfstandig.
  • Je hebt een goede kennis van Excel en Word; ervaring met SAP is mooi meegenomen.
  • Je bent flexibel en denkt graag mee over processen en verbeteringen.
  • Je communiceert vlot in het Nederlands en Frans.
