Voor een grote internationale speler binnen transport en logistiek zoeken we een Senior Accountant die mee structuur brengt in de financiële organisatie. Je krijgt veel autonomie, werkt nauw samen met het management en combineert inhoudelijke accounting met een eerste leidinggevende verantwoordelijkheid.Je bent een belangrijke financiële sparringpartner binnen de organisatie. Ongeveer 70% van je tijd werk je operationeel binnen accounting, terwijl je de overige 30% focust op begeleiding, structuur en optimalisatie.

Concreet betekent dit dat je:

  • de leveranciersboekhouding controleert en opvolgt;
  • klantenboekhouding en debiteurenbeheer bewaakt;
  • zorgt voor correcte en tijdige financiële afsluitingen;
  • financiële processen en structuren analyseert en verbetert;
  • één collega binnen het Finance-team begeleidt en coacht;
  • financiële rapportages richting het management verzorgt;
  • actief verbeterpunten binnen de financiële organisatie detecteert;
  • initiatief neemt om processen efficiënter en overzichtelijker te maken;
  • afwisselend werkt vanuit de vestigingen in Antwerpen en Schoten.
  • Je beschikt over een bachelor binnen Accountancy, Finance, Bedrijfsmanagement of een vergelijkbare richting.
  • Je hebt ongeveer 5 jaar relevante ervaring binnen accounting of finance.
  • Je beschikt over een stevige basis binnen zowel leveranciers- als klantenboekhouding.
  • Je spreekt vlot Nederlands en Engels.
  • Je hebt ervaring met Excel en bij voorkeur ook met systemen zoals SAP en/of AX.
