Jobomschrijving

Als Senior Accountant neem je een sleutelrol op binnen het financiële team. Je bent betrokken bij zowel de boekhouding als de managementrapportering en draagt bij aan een datagedreven financiële werking binnen een internationale en groeiende organisatie. Daarnaast stuur je een accountant aan en rapporteer je rechtstreeks aan het afdelingshoofd.

  • Opzetten en ondersteunen van effectieve controlesystemen voor financiële en operationele gegevens
  • Meewerken aan budgetteringsprocessen, forecasts, variantieanalyses en bedrijfsplannen
  • Ondersteunen bij de voorbereiding van maandelijkse, kwartaal- en jaarrapporteringen
  • Implementeren en bewaken van boekhoudkundige processen, beleidslijnen en controles
  • Verwerken van financiële gegevens in boekhoudkundige en treasury-systemen
  • Waarborgen van correcte, volledige en tijdige verwerking van financiële transacties
  • Uitvoeren van boekhoudkundige reconciliaties voor onder meer banken, intercompany-transacties, debiteuren en crediteuren
  • Opsporen en oplossen van financiële verschillen en afwijkingen
  • Deelnemen aan maandafsluitingen, inclusief journaalboekingen en overlopende posten
  • Uitvoeren en boeken van betalingen
  • Verrichten van bankreconciliaties en controleren van de juistheid van financiële gegevens
  • Opstellen van managementinformatie met betrekking tot betalingen en facturen
  • Ondersteunen bij financiële rapporteringen en analyses
  • Opvolgen van kasstromen en opmaken van kortetermijncashflowrapportages
  • Ondersteunen tijdens interne en externe audits
  • Actief opvolgen van wijzigingen in wet- en regelgeving binnen het financiële vakgebied
  • Aansturen en begeleiden van een accountant binnen het team
  • Bachelor- of masterdiploma in een financiële of economische richting
  • Boekhoudkundige kwalificatie zoals ACA, ACCA, CPA of gelijkwaardig
  • Grondige kennis van btw- en vennootschapsbelasting
  • Inzicht in boekhoudkundige en treasury-processen
  • Ervaring met maandafsluitingen, reconciliaties en financiële rapportering
  • Kennis van auditprocedures en financiële controles
  • Ervaring binnen een productieomgeving vormt een meerwaarde
  • Ervaring met ERP-systemen, bij voorkeur SAP
  • Kennis van BI-tools zoals Power BI is een troef
  • Hands-on ingesteldheid en pragmatische aanpak
  • Sterke communicatieve vaardigheden in het Nederlands en Engels
  • Analytisch, nauwkeurig en oplossingsgericht
  • Vermogen om prioriteiten te stellen en deadlines te respecteren
  • Flexibele ingesteldheid binnen een organisatie in volle ontwikkeling
  • Sterk in het opbouwen van professionele relaties met diverse stakeholders
