The posting

Voor onze klant, een internationaal actieve en toonaangevende producent in de regio Sint-Niklaas, zijn we op zoek naar een Senior Accountant. In deze functie ben je de financiële ruggengraat voor een van de groepsvennootschappen. Je draagt de verantwoordelijkheid over de volledige boekhouding en zorgt voor accurate rapportages waarop het management kan bouwen.

Jouw takenpakket

  • Voeren van de volledige A-Z boekhouding voor een van de groepsentiteiten (inclusief facturatie, banken, lonen en afsluitingen)
  • Maandelijks opstellen en grondig analyseren van de financiële rapportages ter ondersteuning van de Finance Manager
  • Bieden van ondersteunende boekhoudkundige expertise voor overige vennootschappen binnen de groep
  • Voorbereiden en indienen van fiscale documenten waaronder btw-aangiftes en Intrastat-verplichtingen
  • Samenwerken met de Chief Accountant aan de continue optimalisatie van interne controleprocessen en werkwijzen
  • Voorbereiden van de jaarafsluiting en de bijbehorende auditdossiers
  • Je beschikt over een bachelor- of masterdiploma in een financiële of boekhoudkundige richting (of bent gelijkwaardig door ervaring)
  • Je hebt minimaal 5 jaar relevante werkervaring als accountant, bij voorkeur opgebouwd binnen een productie- of industriële omgeving
  • Je beschikt over een grondige kennis van de Belgische boekhoudkundige en fiscale wetgeving (kennis van IFRS is een duidelijke plus)
  • Je hebt ervaring met ERP-systemen (kennis van Microsoft Dynamics is een mooie troef)
  • Je werkt uiterst nauwkeurig, beschikt over een sterk analytisch vermogen en bent proactief ingesteld
  • Je kan zelfstandig dossiers beheren en bent tevens een vlot communicerende teamplayer
