Onze klant is een gevestigde Belgische industriële groep die al meerdere decennia actief is en binnen zijn sector bekendstaat om de kwaliteit van zijn producten en de betrouwbaarheid van zijn dienstverlening. Met verschillende vestigingen en een professionele klantenportefeuille in België en het buitenland blijft het bedrijf sterk groeien, terwijl het zijn familiale en toegankelijke karakter behoudt: snelle beslissingen, een toegankelijke directie en teams die elkaar goed kennen.

De financiële afdeling is volop in ontwikkeling en verwelkomt een Senior Accountant om de fundamenten verder te versterken en deze groeidynamiek mee te ondersteunen.

Jouw rol

Als Senior Accountant ben je het technische aanspreekpunt binnen het boekhoudteam. Je rapporteert aan de Finance Manager en krijgt een grote mate van autonomie binnen jouw verantwoordelijkheidsgebied. Daarnaast fungeer je als aanspreekpunt voor de meer junior accountants en help je hen om hun kennis en vaardigheden verder te ontwikkelen.

Je staat regelmatig in contact met de operationele teams (productie, aankoop en verkoop) en jouw expertise draagt rechtstreeks bij aan de beslissingen van het management.

Jouw belangrijkste verantwoordelijkheden

  • Instaan voor de algemene boekhouding en de betrouwbaarheid van de financiële gegevens voor meerdere entiteiten garanderen.
  • De maandelijkse en jaarlijkse afsluitingen coördineren, van het voorbereiden van eindejaarsboekingen tot het controleren van de rekeningen.
  • De voorraad en kostprijs opvolgen, in samenwerking met de operationele teams.
  • De btw-aangiften en fiscale verplichtingen van de onderneming voorbereiden.
  • Afwijkingen analyseren en rapporteringen opstellen voor de Finance Manager en de directie.
  • Junior accountants ondersteunen en opleiden door best practices en kennis te delen.
  • Bijdragen aan de optimalisatie van processen en de automatisering van terugkerende taken.

Jouw profiel

  • Je hebt minstens 8 jaar ervaring in boekhouding, bij voorkeur binnen een industriële omgeving.
  • Je beschikt over een bachelordiploma of masterdiploma in boekhouding of finance.
  • Je beheerst het Nederlands en Frans, met een goede basiskennis van het Engels.
  • Je hebt een goede kennis van een ERP-systeem en werkt vlot met Excel.
  • Je beschikt over een sterk analytisch inzicht en vindt het interessant om cijfers te vertalen naar concrete inzichten.
  • Je bent proactief en zelfstandig, neemt graag initiatief en denkt actief mee over mogelijke verbeteringen.
  • Je hebt sterke pedagogische vaardigheden en een goede teamgeest. Je deelt graag je ervaring en kennis met collega's.
