The posting

Voor een internationaal actieve organisatie met een familiaal karakter in Geel is Konnekt op zoek naar een Senior Accountant. Vanuit de Europese holding ondersteun je verschillende entiteiten en krijg je een brede verantwoordelijkheid binnen accounting, rapportering en btw.

Je komt terecht in een internationale omgeving waar korte communicatielijnen, zelfstandigheid en initiatief centraal staan. In deze rol werk je nauw samen met de Finance Manager en groei je uit tot een echte rechterhand binnen Finance. Met mogelijkheid om door te groeien tot Finance Manager.

Functieomschrijving Als Senior Accountant neem je een centrale rol op binnen de financiële werking van verschillende Europese entiteiten. Je bewaakt de kwaliteit van de boekhouding, zorgt voor correcte rapportering en denkt actief mee over processen en verbeteringen.

Je werkt nauw samen met de Finance Manager en krijgt een gevarieerd takenpakket:

  • Je staat in voor de grootboekboekhouding van verschillende Europese entiteiten.
  • Je verzorgt de maand-, kwartaal- en jaarafsluitingen en voert de nodige balansreconciliaties uit.
  • Je werkt mee aan het opstellen van jaarrekeningen en staat in voor de financiële rapportering richting het hoofdkantoor in Japan.
  • Je volgt internationale btw-verplichtingen op en werkt hiervoor samen met externe partners.
  • Je bewaakt grensoverschrijdende transacties en zorgt ervoor dat de boekhouding en fiscaliteit voldoen aan de geldende lokale en internationale regelgeving.
  • Je bent het eerste aanspreekpunt voor externe auditors en coördineert de auditwerkzaamheden.
  • Je denkt mee na over interne controles en procesoptimalisaties binnen Finance.
  • Je ondersteunt de Finance Manager bij verschillende ad-hoc financiële projecten.
  • Je groeit uit tot een belangrijke sparringpartner binnen het Finance-team.

Voor deze functie zijn we op zoek naar iemand die:

  • Je hebt een eerste stevige ervaring heeft binnen accounting en klaar is voor een bredere verantwoordelijkheid.
  • Je hebt een goede kennis heeft van Europese btw-regelgeving en grensoverschrijdende transacties.
  • Je hebt een goede kennis van het Nederlands en Engels. Kennis van Frans is een pluspunt.
  • Ervaring met SAP en/of Microsoft Dynamics? Dat is mooi meegenomen!
