The posting

Voor een internationaal actieve logistieke dienstverlener in Ekeren zoekt onze partner een Senior Accountant die eindverantwoordelijkheid neemt over de boekhouding en mee waakt over kwaliteit, structuur en financiële slagkracht.

De verantwoordelijkheden voor deze functie zijn:

  • Je neemt de eindverantwoordelijkheid over de algemene boekhouding (A-Z), inclusief maand-, kwartaal- en jaarafsluitingen.
  • Je waakt over een correcte en tijdige financiële rapportering volgens wetgeving en interne richtlijnen.
  • Je stuurt het Shared Service Center aan en volgt dit op, met focus op afspraken, kwaliteitsbewaking en continue verbetering.
  • Je bewaakt balansposten, provisies, intercompany-stromen en btw-aangiftes.
  • Je bent een sleutelpersoon tijdens interne en externe audits en zorgt voor een vlotte samenwerking met auditors en andere stakeholders.
  • Je werkt nauw samen met finance, controlling en het management, en fungeert als inhoudelijke sparringpartner.
  • Je analyseert financiële resultaten en vertaalt inzichten naar duidelijke rapporteringen en onderbouwd advies.
  • Je denkt actief mee over procesoptimalisaties en efficiëntiewinsten binnen accounting en rapportering.

De vereiste kwalificaties zijn:

  • Je beschikt over een bachelor of master in een financiële/economische richting (bv. Accountancy, Finance, Handelswetenschappen).
  • Je hebt minstens 3 jaar ervaring binnen accounting/general ledger en afsluitingen, bij voorkeur in een complexe of internationale context.
  • Je hebt een sterke kennis van Belgische boekhoudkundige en fiscale regelgeving.
  • Je neemt vanzelf ownership over cijfers, processen en deadlines, ook tijdens piekperiodes.
  • Je hebt ervaring met of sterke affiniteit voor het samenwerken met/aansturen van een Shared Service Center.
  • Je werkt analytisch en gestructureerd, met een hands-on mentaliteit en professioneel inzicht.
  • Je communiceert vlot in Nederlands en Engels (kennis van Frans is een plus).
  • Je werkt vlot met ERP-systemen en hebt een uitstekende kennis van Excel.
