The posting

Als Senior Accountant neem je een sleutelrol op binnen het Consolidation & Accounting-team van een snelgroeiende internationale onderneming. Je bent het inhoudelijke aanspreekpunt voor de statutaire boekhouding van de Belgische vennootschap en combineert operationele betrokkenheid met verantwoordelijkheid voor afsluiting, rapportering, compliance en procesverbetering.

Je bewaakt de volledige boekhouding en werkt nauw samen met collega’s uit Tax & Treasury, Controlling en Consolidation, evenals lokale financeteams in Europa, Noord- en Zuid-Amerika. De dagelijkse leveranciers- en klantenboekhouding en financiële verrichtingen worden door een collega verwerkt. Jij biedt inhoudelijke ondersteuning en zorgt voor een correcte dossierafwerking.

Je verantwoordelijkheden:

  • Beheren en bewaken van de volledige boekhouding van de Belgische vennootschap.
  • Coördineren en uitvoeren van maand-, kwartaal- en jaarafsluitingen.
  • Verwerken van intercompany-doorrekeningen van groepskosten.
  • Opvolgen van de correcte verwerking en reconciliatie van intercompanyverrichtingen.
  • Bewaken van een correcte btw-verwerking.
  • Opvolgen van fiscale en boekhoudkundige regelgeving.
  • Voorbereiden van de statutaire jaarrekening en het onderliggende afsluitdossier.
  • Bewaken van de aansluiting tussen boekhouding, rapportering en ondersteunende documentatie.
  • Opbouwen van een volledig en auditklaar dossier.
  • Fungeren als aanspreekpunt voor externe auditors tijdens de statutaire audit.
  • Optimaliseren van financiële procedures.
  • Documenteren van processen en bijdragen aan sterke interne controles.
  • Aanleveren van input voor het budget van de Belgische vennootschap.
  • Meewerken aan financeprojecten rond e-invoicing, AI, automatisering en processtandaardisatie.
  • Optreden als inhoudelijk en coachend aanspreekpunt voor statutaire accounting.
  • Ondersteunen van collega’s bij boekhoudkundige vragen.
  • Samenwerken met gespecialiseerde financiële teams en internationale financecontacten.
  • Een bachelor- of masterdiploma in Accountancy-Fiscaliteit, finance of een gelijkwaardige studierichting vormt je opleidingsbasis.
  • Een ruime ervaring in een brede accountingfunctie is belangrijk; de vacature richt zich op kandidaten met minstens vijf jaar relevante ervaring.
  • Algemene boekhouding, maand- en jaarafsluitingen, btw en statutaire rapportering beheers je grondig.
  • Een boekhoudkundig dossier neem je zelfstandig in handen.
  • Excel en een ERP-systeem gebruik je vlot.
  • Ervaring met SAP S/4HANA vormt een duidelijke troef.
  • Nauwkeurigheid, analytisch inzicht en discretie kenmerken je aanpak.
  • Deadlines bewaak je zorgvuldig.
  • Je werkt proactief, hands-on en oplossingsgericht.
  • Efficiëntere processen helpen uitwerken spreekt je aan.
  • Heldere communicatie ondersteunt je samenwerking met uiteenlopende stakeholders.
  • Nederlands en Engels beheers je zeer goed.
  • Een internationale omgeving en een afwisselend takenpakket sluiten aan bij jouw interesses.
  • Flexibiliteit combineer je met een duidelijke passie voor het vak.
  • Samenwerken en kennis delen doe je graag.
