Welke keuzes moeten we vandaag maken om een groeiende regio bereikbaar te houden? Maar ook, wat is er nodig om tijdens werkzaamheden op de rail of op de weg de hinder te beperken. En wat kunnen we doen om tijdens de Marathon zoveel mogelijk mensen in de stad te krijgen. Altijd vanuit het belang van de reiziger en rekening houdend met de mogelijkheden van techniek en exploitatie en met bestuurlijke ambities? Als Senior Adviseur Mobiliteit & OV help jij die koers bepalen. In opdracht van de directie werk je aan complexe mobiliteitsvraagstukken. Je ontwikkelt scenario's, brengt data, reizigersbelang, beleid en uitvoerbaarheid samen en vertaalt die naar heldere keuzes voor het OV-netwerk van morgen en de toekomst. Je adviseert niet vanaf de zijlijn. Je zit aan tafel met directie, MRDH, gemeenten en andere regionale partners én werkt binnen de organisatie die jouw adviezen uiteindelijk zelf moet waarmaken. Als Senior Adviseur Mobiliteit & OV kijk je vooruit. Soms naar morgen, maar ook 5 tot 25 jaar vooruit. Je volgt ontwikkelingen in mobiliteit, reizigersgedrag, stedelijke ontwikkeling en publieke mobiliteit en vertaalt deze naar de koers voor metro, tram en bus in Rotterdam en de regio. Welke ontwikkelingen komen op ons af? Wat betekenen die voor het netwerk? Welke scenario's zijn mogelijk? En welke keuzes moeten we maken? Jij brengt daarin richting. Juist het schakelen tussen lange termijn en concrete resultaten maakt deze functie bijzonder. Altijd blijven aansluiten bij wat reizigers nodig hebben. In de strategie voor 2050 en bij grote werkzaamheden, gebiedsontwikkelingen of bijvoorbeeld een evenement bij Feyenoord of Ahoy.
