Voor onze partner in regio Mechelen zijn we op zoek naar een Senior Agentic Software Engineer die een verschil wil maken. Je komt terecht in een innovatieve R&D-omgeving waar softwareontwikkeling en artificiële intelligentie steeds meer hand in hand gaan.

Samen met een multidisciplinair Scrum-team ontwikkel je moderne cloud-native applicaties op het Microsoft-platform. Je bouwt niet alleen kwalitatieve software, maar speelt ook een actieve rol in de transformatie naar AI-assisted en agentic softwareontwikkeling.

Waar softwareontwikkeling vroeger voornamelijk draaide om het handmatig schrijven van code, werk je vandaag steeds vaker samen met AI-systemen. Je gebruikt AI-tools en software agents om analyses uit te voeren, code te genereren, testen op te zetten, documentatie te creëren en repetitieve engineeringtaken te automatiseren.

Als Senior Agentic Software Engineer ben je verantwoordelijk voor zowel het ontwikkelen van schaalbare softwareoplossingen als het optimaal inzetten van AI binnen het ontwikkelproces. Je helpt mee de software development lifecycle van morgen vorm te geven en draagt actief bij aan de verdere uitbouw van engineering standaarden, best practices en AI-governance binnen het team.

Greep uit jouw verantwoordelijkheden:

  • Ontwerpen en ontwikkelen van schaalbare softwareoplossingen op basis van .NET en Azure.
  • Actief inzetten van AI-tools zoals GitHub Copilot, Claude Code en vergelijkbare oplossingen als onderdeel van je dagelijkse workflow.
  • Complexe businessvraagstukken vertalen naar opdrachten die efficiënt door AI-systemen kunnen worden uitgevoerd.
  • Reviewen, valideren en verbeteren van AI-gegenereerde code, documentatie en analyses.
  • Ontwikkelen en optimaliseren van AI-assisted engineering workflows.
  • Samenwerken met architecten, product owners en business analisten om kwalitatieve softwareoplossingen te realiseren.
  • Bijdragen aan technische standaarden, softwarekwaliteit en de verdere professionalisering van AI-gedreven development.
  • Ondersteunen van collega's bij het adopteren van AI-tools en nieuwe manieren van softwareontwikkeling.

Profiel

  • Je behaalde een bachelor- of masterdiploma in een relevante richting (Toegepaste Informatica, Software Engineering, Computer Science...).
  • Je beschikt over minimaal 6 jaar ervaring binnen softwareontwikkeling met .NET-technologieën.
  • Je hebt ervaring met meerdere van onderstaande technologieën:C# .NET 10 (of eerdere moderne .NET-versies) ASP.NET Core RESTful API's CQRS Domain Driven Design (DDD) React Azure Cloud GitHub Enterprise GitHub Copilot Bicep
  • Je denkt in architectuur, schaalbaarheid en lange termijn onderhoudbaarheid.
  • Je bent in staat AI-output kritisch te beoordelen en waar nodig te verbeteren.
  • Je begrijpt dat kwaliteit, veiligheid en betrouwbaarheid belangrijker zijn dan louter snelheid.
  • Je bent nieuwsgierig naar nieuwe technologieën en experimenteert graag met AI-tools.
  • Je communiceert vlot in het Nederlands en Engels.
