The posting

Bij een technisch dienstverlener in Zaandam werk je als Senior Application Engineer aan industriële automatiseringsprojecten waarin procestechnologie, elektrotechniek, instrumentatie en software samenkomen. Je vertaalt klantwensen naar een passende besturingsoplossing en legt de werking vast in functionele en technische ontwerpen. Vervolgens ontwikkel je samen met collega Application Engineers applicatiesoftware voor PLC-, SCADA- en/of DCS-systemen. Je houdt daarbij de samenhang tussen procesgedrag, bediening en besturing scherp in beeld, van de eerste ontwerpkeuzes tot de acceptatie van de installatie. In de dagelijkse praktijk stem je af met engineers uit verschillende disciplines, bespreek je technische keuzes en begeleid je FAT- en SAT-trajecten. Ook test je de functionaliteit op locatie en onderzoek je afwijkingen tussen ontwerp en praktijk. Als senior breng je inhoudelijke diepgang in het team en help je collega's bij complexe besturingsvraagstukken. De combinatie van softwareontwikkeling, proceskennis en inbedrijfstelling geeft je ruimte om je expertise verder te verdiepen. Functie-inhoud - Klantwensen vertalen naar concrete automatiseringsoplossingen - Functionele en technische ontwerpen opstellen voor industriële besturingen - PLC-, SCADA- en/of DCS-applicaties ontwikkelen met collega Application Engineers - Besturingsinterfaces afstemmen met procestechnologie, elektrotechniek en instrumentatie - FAT en SAT voorbereiden en begeleiden - Functionaliteit op locatie testen en technische afwijkingen analyseren - Collega's ondersteunen bij complexe software- en besturingsvraagstukken Functie-eisen - Hbo-werk- en -denkniveau in industriële automatisering, elektrotechniek of een vergelijkbare richting - Ruime ervaring met applicatieontwikkeling voor PLC-, SCADA- en/of DCS-systemen - Specialistische kennis van industriële besturingen en de samenhang met procesinstallaties - Ervaring met het opstellen van functionele en technische ontwerpen - Ervaring met FAT, SAT.
