The posting

Bij een technische dienstverlener in Schiedam ontwerp en programmeer je complexe automatiseringssystemen voor industriële toepassingen. Als Senior Automation Engineer neem je de technische leiding in projecten rond PLC, SCADA en Siemens PCS 7. Je vertaalt proceswensen naar besturingssoftware, houdt overzicht over de systeemopbouw en maakt afwegingen over betrouwbaarheid, bedienbaarheid en onderhoud. Daarbij krijg je ruimte om technische verbeteringen voor te stellen en automatiseringsoplossingen verder te ontwikkelen. In de dagelijkse praktijk combineer je software-engineering met inhoudelijke afstemming over procesbesturing, visualisatie en testen. Je werkt samen met andere engineers en betrokkenen bij het proces, bespreekt ontwerpkeuzes en helpt collega's bij complexe softwarevraagstukken. Je kijkt niet alleen naar de werking van een afzonderlijke regeling, maar ook naar de samenhang van het complete systeem. Opleidingsmogelijkheden ondersteunen je verdere verdieping in PLC/SCADA-techniek en procesautomatisering. Functie-inhoud - Ontwerpen en programmeren van PLC/SCADA- en PCS 7-oplossingen voor industriële processen - Vertalen van functionele eisen naar softwarestructuren, regelingen en bedieningsbeelden - Bewaken van technische samenhang en softwarekwaliteit binnen automatiseringsprojecten - Afstemmen van interfaces en besturingsfuncties met engineers en procesbetrokkenen - Voorbereiden en uitvoeren van softwaretests en analyseren van afwijkingen - Begeleiden van collega's bij ontwerpkeuzes en complexe besturingsvraagstukken - Vastleggen van softwarewijzigingen en technische keuzes voor beheer en onderhoud Functie-eisen - Hbo-/hts-denkniveau, passend bij industriële automatisering of elektrotechniek - Ruime ervaring met het ontwerpen en programmeren van PLC/SCADA-systemen - Kennis van Siemens PCS 7 en de toepassing ervan in procesautomatisering - Vermogen om complexe procesvragen te vertalen naar betrouwbare besturingssoftware - Ervaring met technische coördi.
