Voor onze klant zijn we op zoek naar een Senior Business Controller voor de regio Berchem. Je komt terecht in een ambitieuze organisatie waar finance een strategische rol speelt en nauw samenwerkt met het management om de verdere groei en prestaties van de business te ondersteunen.

In deze functie ben je de financiële sparringpartner van het management en neem je de verantwoordelijkheid over een volledige business unit. Je combineert een sterk analytisch inzicht met een strategische visie en vertaalt financiële data naar concrete aanbevelingen die bijdragen aan een duurzame groei en hogere rendabiliteit. Dankzij jouw expertise ondersteun je niet alleen de dagelijkse werking, maar bepaal je ook mee de financiële koers van de organisatie.

Hoe zal jouw takenpakket eruit zien?

  • Je bent verantwoordelijk voor de financiële opvolging en prestaties van een volledige business unit.
  • Je werkt actief mee aan het budget-, forecast- en meerjarenplanning proces en ondersteunt de strategische besluitvorming.
  • Je analyseert omzet, marges, kosten en rendabiliteit en vertaalt deze naar concrete inzichten en aanbevelingen.
  • Je ontwikkelt managementrapporteringen en KPI-dashboards die het management ondersteunen bij het nemen van strategische beslissingen.
  • Je analyseert afwijkingen ten opzichte van budget en forecast en formuleert verbeteracties om de bedrijfsresultaten verder te optimaliseren.
  • Je fungeert als financiële sparringpartner voor het management en verschillende interne stakeholders.
  • Je ondersteunt investeringsanalyses, business cases en andere strategische projecten.
  • Je waakt over een correcte financiële rapportering, interne controles en de verdere optimalisatie van financiële processen.
  • Je werkt nauw samen met verschillende afdelingen en rapporteert rechtstreeks aan de Finance Director.

Wat verwachten wij van jou?

  • Je behaalde je master in een economische/financiële richting of beschikt over relevante ervaring.
  • Je hebt minstens 8 jaar relevante ervaring binnen business controlling of een vergelijkbare strategische finance functie.
  • Je bent analytisch sterk en combineert financiële expertise met een uitgesproken business mindset.
  • Je bent een sterke communicator en bouwt moeiteloos duurzame relaties op met stakeholders op verschillende niveaus.
  • Je neemt initiatief, durft beslissingen kritisch te challengen en voelt je comfortabel in een rol met veel verantwoordelijkheid.
  • Naast jouw uitstekende kennis van Excel, heb je ervaring met SAP en Power BI of andere reporting tools.
  • Je communiceert vlot in het Nederlands en Engels.
