Binnen een toonaangevende Europese distributiegroep, actief in papier, verpakkingsoplossingen en visuele communicatiematerialen, biedt deze positie als Senior Controller Benelux een uitdagende volgende stap met ruimte voor impact en initiatief.

In het kader van de verdere groei en ontwikkeling van de Benelux-organisatie ontstaat een unieke kans om een sleutelrol op te nemen binnen de financiële organisatie. Je krijgt de verantwoordelijkheid over de volledige finance werking voor België en Nederland en wordt een belangrijke sparringpartner voor het lokale management en de internationale finance organisatie.

Jouw uitdaging

Als Senior Controller Benelux ben jij de financiële spilfiguur voor de Belgische en Nederlandse activiteiten.

Je bent verantwoordelijk voor de financiële opvolging van twee juridische entiteiten en zorgt ervoor dat de rapportering correct, tijdig en kwalitatief verloopt. Je combineert sterke controlling expertise met een hands-on aanpak en neemt een actieve rol op in het verbeteren van processen en financiële inzichten.

Je werkt nauw samen met het lokale management, het Shared Service Center in Hongarije en de internationale finance organisatie. Je rapporteert rechtstreeks aan de General Manager Benelux en onderhoudt daarnaast een functionele rapporteringslijn met de CFO Western Europe.

Jouw verantwoordelijkheden als Senior Controller Benelux :

  • Coördineren van de maandafsluiting in samenwerking met het Shared Service Center
  • Bewaken van de kwaliteit van financiële cijfers, balans en P&L
  • Opstellen van managementrapporteringen, analyses en business inzichten
  • Analyseren van marges, pricing, kostprijzen en rendabiliteit
  • Adviseren van het management rond commerciële en financiële beslissingen
  • Financiële opvolging van België en Nederland (twee juridische entiteiten)
  • Bewaken van Belgische btw-verplichtingen en financiële compliance
  • Optimaliseren van working capital en cashflow
  • Ondersteunen en verder ontwikkelen van Credit Management
  • Initiëren van verbeterprojecten en optimaliseren van financiële processen
  • Fungeren als eerste aanspreekpunt voor het Shared Service Center in Hongarije

Jouw plaats binnen de finance organisatie :

Je komt terecht in een compacte maar ervaren finance organisatie.

Lokaal werk je nauw samen met:

  • 1 Business Controller
  • 2 parttime Credit Controllers

Daarnaast werk je dagelijks samen met 4 finance collega's binnen het Shared Service Center in Hongarije die de Benelux ondersteunen.

Hoewel het Shared Service Center niet rechtstreeks aan jou rapporteert, ben jij hun belangrijkste aanspreekpunt en coördineer je de samenwerking tussen de lokale organisatie en het internationale finance team.

Wie zoeken we?

Je bent een ervaren finance professional die graag ownership neemt en energie haalt uit een brede rol dicht bij de business.

Daarnaast beschik je over:

  • Minstens 8 jaar relevante ervaring binnen accounting en controlling
  • Een sterke kennis van de Belgische boekhouding en btw
  • Ervaring met maandafsluitingen en managementrapportering
  • Ervaring binnen een handels-, distributie- of supply chain omgeving is een sterke troef
  • Ervaring met een Shared Service Center of uitbestede finance activiteiten
  • Ervaring binnen een internationale matrixorganisatie
  • Sterke analytische vaardigheden en een pragmatische ingesteldheid
  • Het vermogen om verschillende stakeholders te challengen en te adviseren
  • Kennis van IFRS16 is mooi meegenomen
  • Een uitstekende kennis van Nederlands en Engels en een goede kennis van Frans

Ervaring met SAP is een belangrijke troef. Daarnaast werk je ook met Hyperion en AARO voor consolidatie en rapportering.
