Bij een multidisciplinair ingenieursbureau in Schiedam bewaak je als Senior Cost Control Engineer de financiële voortgang van CAPEX-projecten in de procesindustrie, bij tankterminals en binnen asset management. Je verbindt engineering, planning en financiën en maakt inzichtelijk hoe budget, urenverbruik en projectvoortgang zich tot elkaar verhouden. Met jouw analyses en advies help je projectmanagers tijdig bij te sturen en onderbouwde keuzes te maken over kosten, meerwerk en de verdere uitvoering. In de dagelijkse praktijk houd je financiële projectgegevens actueel, onderzoek je afwijkingen en vertaal je cijfers naar bruikbare maandrapportages voor project- en bedrijfsmanagement. Je stemt af met engineers, projectmanagers, klanten en de financiële afdeling, zodat kostenbeheersing aansluit op de technische werkelijkheid. Binnen het team krijg je ruimte om je expertise in cost control verder te ontwikkelen en door te groeien. Functie-inhoud - Je bewaakt projectbudgetten en houdt het financiële systeem actueel. - Je analyseert urenverbruik en projectvoortgang en signaleert budgetafwijkingen. - Je stelt maandelijkse financiële rapportages op voor project- en bedrijfsmanagement. - Je ondersteunt bij meerwerkcalculaties en facturatie. - Je adviseert projectmanagers over kostenbeheersing en bijsturing. - Je stemt financiële projectinformatie af met engineering, planning, klanten en financiën. Functie-eisen - Je hebt minimaal vijf jaar ervaring als Cost Control Engineer bij een multidisciplinair ingenieursbureau. - Je hebt een afgeronde technische mbo+- of hbo-opleiding, bijvoorbeeld Werktuigbouwkunde of Industriële Techniek. - Je werkt zelfstandig, bent analytisch en administratief sterk en communiceert helder met betrokkenen. - Je beheerst het Nederlands goed en het Engels op professioneel niveau. - Ervaring met cost estimating, financiële systemen, Excel, Power BI, SharePoint, Primavera P6 en/of MS Project is een pré. - Een certificering in Cost Control en ervaring m.
