Als Senior Data Analytics Engineer maak je deel uit van Information Delivery Services (IDS), het data-team dat verantwoordelijk is voor de implementatie van het gemeenschappelijk dataplatform bij een klant die een belangrijke speler is in de sociale zekerheid voor de domeinen werkloosheid, loopbaanonderbreking en tijdskrediet.

Je combineert een analytische aanpak met technische expertise om schaalbare datamodellen en transformation pipelines te ontwerpen, te bouwen en te onderhouden.

Je bent actief betrokken bij elke fase van de data-lifecycle -van data-analyse en modeling tot workflow orchestration en performance optimization- om ervoor te zorgen dat data accuraat, toegankelijk en afgestemd is op de noden van de organisatie.

Je ontwerpt en onderhoudt conceptuele, logische en fysieke datamodellen voor verschillende domeinen en oplossingen, waarbij je datastructuren normaliseert of dimensioneert volgens de use case en geldende standaarden.

Je werkt op een pragmatische en Agile manier.

Je taken:

  • Ontwikkelen van gelaagde transformation logic met dbt, gericht op onderhoudbaarheid, prestaties en kostenefficiëntie.
  • Opzetten van orchestration van data-workflows met Dagster voor betrouwbare en tijdige levering.
  • Ontwerpen van dimensionale datamodellen (Kimball) ter ondersteuning van reporting en analytics.
  • Uitvoeren van data-analyse en validatie om de kwaliteit en bruikbaarheid van datasets te garanderen.
  • Optimaliseren van reporting-modellen en queries in Power BI voor performance en schaalbaarheid.
  • Samenwerken via Git en CI/CD pipelines voor versiebeheer en continue integratie.

Wie ben jij?

  • Je behaalde een masterdiploma of je kan een gelijkwaardig niveau aantonen door relevante ervaring.
  • Je beschikt over uitgebreide expertise in SQL, dbt en dimensioneel modelleren volgens de Kimball-methodologie.
  • Daarnaast heb je een goede kennis van ETL/ELT-methodologieën, waarbij ervaring met Data Vault-modellering een bijkomende meerwaarde vormt.
  • Verder ben je gevorderd in het gebruik van Dagster en Git.
  • Je hebt een algemene basiskennis van Databricks, CI/CD-principes en Power BI, waardoor je deze technologieën efficiënt kan inzetten binnen data-engineering- en analytics-trajecten.
  • Je kan autonoom efficiënt werken maar hebt tevens oog voor het werken in teamverband.
  • Je bent verantwoordelijk, flexibel en je hebt zin voor initiatief in een dynamische werkomgeving.
  • Je communiceert vlot, weet ideeën uit te wisselen en hebt oog voor overleg.
  • Je beheerst het Nederlands uitstekend, zowel gesproken als geschreven. Daarnaast heb je een passieve kennis van het Frans en een goede kennis van het Engels.
