Jouw rol binnen de afdeling Engineering bij Royal Van Lent Shipyard is cruciaal. Hierdoor zorg jij ervoor dat 's werelds meest luxueuze en hoogkwalitatieve superjachten in Nederland kunnen worden gebouwd. Dit gebeurt al 175 jaar met een gevoel van familie.

De Afdeling

De Interieurafdeling van Engineering is verantwoordelijk voor de realisatie van de engineering van het volledige interieur van het superjacht. Denk hierbij aan trappen, vloeren, plafonds, maar ook aan (vaste) meubels.

De Functie

Voor de afdeling Engineering Interior zijn we vanwege groei op zoek naar nieuwe collega's. Als Senior Engineer ben jij medeverantwoordelijk voor een kwalitatief goede en tijdige uitwerking van het definitieve detailontwerp van een Feadship.

Dit doe je samen met je collega-engineers en de Project Manager Engineering aan wie jij functioneel rapporteert. Je bent in jouw dagelijkse werkzaamheden verantwoordelijk voor onder andere de detailengineering, 3D-modellen en verschillende datasheets van het project waaraan jullie team is gekoppeld.

Om het engineerings- en productieproces zo efficiënt mogelijk te laten verlopen, schakel je veel met jouw collega-engineers van andere disciplines zoals Werktuigbouw, Constructie, Exterieur en Special Engineering. Je houdt rekening met de Royal Van Lent-standaarden en kwaliteit en waarborgt deze tijdens het proces. Je bent medeverantwoordelijk voor het bewaken van de informatiestroom van en naar de productie. Als resultaat van een efficiënt proces en een goede informatiestroom richting de productie, kunnen de productieplanningen en -standaarden worden nageleefd binnen tijd, budget en volgens de juiste kwaliteit.

Voor een ideale kandidaat is het belangrijk dat hij of zij kan voldoen aan de volgende eisen binnen de functie:
