Wil je verder gaan dan cijfers rapporteren en vooral begrijpen wat er achter de cijfers gebeurt? Als FP&A Senior Finance Analyst – Europe speel je een belangrijke rol in de financiële sturing van een internationale organisatie binnen de voedingssector.

Je vertaalt financiële data naar heldere inzichten, ondersteunt budgetten en forecasts en helpt managementteams om gefundeerde beslissingen te nemen. Daarbij werk je nauw samen met finance, operations en andere afdelingen binnen de Europese organisatie.

Verantwoordelijkheden

  • Je analyseert de maandelijkse financiële resultaten en brengt evoluties, afwijkingen en aandachtspunten helder in kaart.
  • Je volgt onder andere de P&L, balans, kostenstructuur, rendabiliteit van business units en relevante financiële KPI's op.
  • Je vertaalt cijfers naar begrijpelijke managementinformatie en concrete aanbevelingen.
  • Je werkt actief mee aan het jaarlijkse budget en de verschillende forecastcycli doorheen het jaar.
  • Je ondersteunt de financiële planning binnen het Sales & Operations Planning-proces en stemt hiervoor regelmatig af met andere afdelingen.
  • Je stelt cashflowprognoses op en helpt de financiële positie van de Europese activiteiten nauwgezet opvolgen.
  • Je werkt samen met accounting en operationele teams om betrouwbare en consistente financiële rapportering te garanderen.
  • Je voert financiële analyses, businesscases en modellen uit ter ondersteuning van projecten en strategische beslissingen.
  • Je krijgt ruimte om bestaande rapporteringen, systemen en financiële processen kritisch te bekijken en verder te optimaliseren.
  • Je beschikt over een masterdiploma in Finance, Accounting, Economie of een vergelijkbare richting.
  • Je hebt minstens 5 jaar relevante ervaring binnen finance, controlling, accounting of FP&A.
  • Je bent analytisch sterk en kunt grote hoeveelheden financiële informatie vertalen naar duidelijke conclusies.
  • Je werkt vlot met Excel, waaronder formules, draaitabellen en grafieken.
  • Ervaring met Power BI, SAP of andere rapporterings- en analysetools is een sterke troef.
  • Je combineert nauwkeurigheid met een goed inzicht in de bredere businesscontext.
  • Je werkt georganiseerd, bewaart het overzicht en kunt goed omgaan met deadlines en terugkerende rapporteringscycli.
  • Je communiceert vlot en werkt graag samen met collega's uit verschillende disciplines en landen.
  • Je bent nieuwsgierig, neemt nieuwe systemen en processen snel op en denkt actief mee over verbeteringen.
  • Ervaring primeert op leeftijd: ook ervaren professionals die een volgende stap willen zetten, worden aangemoedigd om te reageren.
