Je nieuwe werkomgeving

Voor een groeiend productiebedrijf met internationale vertakkingen, gevestigd in regio Moeskroen, zijn we op zoek naar een Senior GL Accountant. De organisatie bestaat uit verschillende vennootschappen, waaronder enkele buitenlandse dochterondernemingen. Vanuit het hoofdkantoor stuur je mee de financiële processen aan van de Belgische entiteit en van de buitenlandse entiteiten, in nauwe samenwerking met de lokale boekhouders ter plaatse.

Jouw verantwoordelijkheden

  • Je voert de algemene boekhouding (A-Z) voor de Belgische entiteit
  • Je houdt toezicht op de boekhouding van diverse buitenlandse entiteiten, lokaal gevoerd door boekhouders ter plaatse, en bewaakt van op afstand de kwaliteit ervan
  • Je zorgt voor consistente en correcte rapportering
  • Je bereidt de maand-, kwartaal- en jaarafsluitingen voor en stelt deze zelfstandig op
  • Je maakt de BTW-aangiftes op en volgt andere fiscale verplichtingen op
  • Je analyseert grootboekrekeningen en voert reconciliaties uit
  • Je werkt actief mee aan de jaarlijkse audit en volgt vragen van externe auditoren op
  • Je signaleert proactief wanneer cijfers in een buitenlandse entiteit afwijken van wat je verwacht, ook al voer je die boekhouding niet zelf
  • Je denkt actief mee over de optimalisatie van financiële processen tussen de entiteiten
  • Je rapporteert rechtstreeks aan de CFO

Wat breng je mee?

  • Sterke senioriteit en maturiteit,
  • Grondige kennis van BGAAP en IFRS
  • Voldoende internationale ervaring om afwijkingen in buitenlandse boekhoudingen te herkennen; je voert deze boekhouding niet zelf, maar weet wanneer iets niet klopt
  • Een gestructureerde en nauwkeurige werkwijze, gecombineerd met de mentaliteit van een harde werker
  • Je neemt ownership over je dossiers en communiceert vlot, ook met internationale collega's
  • Vloeiend Nederlands en een goede kennis van het Engels; kennis van het Frans is geen vereiste
  • Bereidheid om overwegend op kantoor te werken; 1 dag thuiswerk per week is mogelijk
