Als Senior Inspecteur Bouwen ben je verantwoordelijk voor het toezicht op complexe bouw-, sloop- en verbouwprojecten, en de vele monumentenprojecten binnen de gemeente Wassenaar. Je ziet erop toe dat werkzaamheden veilig worden uitgevoerd en voldoen aan de verleende vergunningen, het omgevingsplan en de geldende wet- en regelgeving. Daarbij houd je oog voor de veiligheid van de omgeving, de kwaliteit van de uitvoering en de belangen van inwoners, ondernemers en andere betrokkenen. Je bent de regisseur van het bouwtoezicht en coördineert de taken en werkzaamheden onder de directe collega's. Als senior ben je het inhoudelijke aanspreekpunt binnen het team. Je denkt mee over complexe dossiers, deelt jouw kennis en ervaring met collega's en adviseert management en bestuur over bouwkundige en toezichthoudende vraagstukken. Daarnaast draag je actief bij aan de verdere ontwikkeling van werkprocessen, de kwaliteit van het toezicht en de professionalisering van het team. Je beoordeelt bouwveiligheidsplannen en veiligheidsmaatregelen, voert inspecties uit en signaleert risico's. Bij afwijkingen of onveilige situaties handel je doortastend en neem je zelfstandig besluiten.
