Het Ziekenhuis Oost-Limburg (ZOL) is een topklinisch ziekenhuis met campussen in Genk, Lanaken en Maaseik. Dagelijks zetten duizenden collega’s zich in voor warme, kwalitatieve en innovatieve zorg. Om ons team te versterken, zoeken we een (Senior) IT Engineer User Experience (UX) & SecOps.

Hoofdstandplaats is Genk, aangevuld met activiteiten op onze andere campussen.

Jouw impact als IT Engineer

Bouw jij IT-infrastructuur met de klant en eindgebruiker in gedachten, zonder ooit in te boeten op security? Als onze specialist op het snijvlak van UX en SecOps zorg jij ervoor dat onze systemen niet alleen moeilijk te kraken zijn, maar dat onze zorgverleners en collega’s er ook feilloos en met plezier mee werken. Je krijgt hier de regie én de ruimte om onze IT-omgeving naar een hoger niveau te tillen. Denk hierbij aan domeinen zoals Modern Workplace & Endpoint Management (Intune en SCCM), Security Operations (XDR, SOAR, SIEM), Identity Management (Entra ID), Collaboration & Communication (M365) en Security Awareness.

Je rapporteert aan een IT-domeinarchitect en werkt nauw samen met collega-engineers, projectteams en interne stakeholders. Samen zoeken jullie continu naar verbeteringen en duurzame oplossingen.

Je takenpakket?

  • Moderniseren & Beveiligen: Je ontwerpt, bouwt en beheert een robuuste IT-infrastructuur waar security (SecOps) en gebruiksgemak (UX) hand in hand gaan.
  • Snel schakelen bij dreigingen: Je volgt security-meldingen proactief op, dicht kwetsbaarheden voordat ze een probleem worden en richt geautomatiseerde monitoring in.
  • Toekomstbestendige migraties: Je trekt uitdagende projecten zoals cloudmigraties, infrastructuurvernieuwingen en de uitrol van nieuwe high-end soft- en hardware.
  • Vertaalslag van techniek naar mens: Je analyseert complexe technische vereisten en vertaalt deze naar logische, intuïtieve IT-oplossingen voor de organisatie.
  • Lifecycle Management: Je optimaliseert bestaande omgevingen, voert tijdig upgrades uit en zorgt dat onze systemen altijd up-to-date en performant presteren.
  • Kennisbaken: Je bent het vaste technische aanspreekpunt voor collega’s, waarbij je complexe IT-materie helder weet uit te leggen.

  • Teamspirit gecombineerd met zelfstandig kunnen werken.
  • Leergierigheid en de motivatie om je kennis continu verder uit te bouwen.
  • Je spreekt vlot Nederlands, met een goede kennis van Engels.
