Als Senior Jurist Handhaving adviseer je over en draag je bij aan de uitvoering van toezicht en handhaving op het gebied van openbare orde en veiligheid en het omgevingsrecht. Je behandelt handhavingszaken op basis van onder andere de Omgevingswet, Algemene Plaatselijke Verordening (APV), Alcoholwet en Opiumwet. Als Senior Jurist Handhaving ben je verantwoordelijk voor de behandeling van complexe handhavingszaken en bestuurlijk gevoelige dossiers. Je adviseert toezichthouders, boa's, management en bestuur, stelt handhavingsbesluiten op en vertegenwoordigt de gemeente in bezwaar- en beroepsprocedures. Daarnaast vervul je een coachende en coördinerende rol binnen de eenheid en draag je actief bij aan de ontwikkeling van collega's, van beleid en de verdere professionalisering van het domein van handhaving. De kracht van werken bij een kleinere gemeente? Je bent niet één van de vele specialisten op een deelonderwerp, maar een volwaardige gesprekspartner die betrokken is bij het gehele proces. Door de korte lijnen binnen onze organisatie krijg je veel ruimte om zelfstandig te opereren, breed ervaring op te doen en daadwerkelijk verschil te maken voor inwoners, ondernemers en bestuur.
