Senior/Lead Software developer - Den Haag Den Haag Organisatie Voor een grote, maatschappelijke betrokken organisatie zijn wij op zoek naar een Senior / Lead Software Developer die wil werken aan bedrijfskritische IT-oplossingen. Binnen deze organisatie wordt technologie ingezet in een operationele omgeving waarin betrouwbaarheid, veiligheid en continuïteit essentieel zijn. Je komt terecht binnen een gespecialiseerde IT-afdeling die verantwoordelijk is voor de ontwikkeling en het beheer van software en hardware voor een groot wagenpark van ongeveer 4.000 operationele voertuigen. De systemen die het team ontwikkelt worden dagelijks intensief gebruikt en moeten onder alle omstandigheden betrouwbaar blijven functioneren. De werksfeer is professioneel, inhoudelijk en betrokken. Er wordt gewerkt volgens Agile/DevOps- en Scrumprincipes met onder andere daily stand-ups en retrospectives. Geen dag is hetzelfde: het ene moment werk je diepgaand aan de softwarestack, het andere moment onderzoek je samen met collega's een technisch probleem in een voertuig of denk je mee over nieuwe hardware. Functie Als Senior / Lead Software Developer werk je aan complexe IT-oplossingen die direct worden ingezet in een operationele omgeving. Je bent samen met het team verantwoordelijk voor de software die draait binnen duizenden voertuigen en andere mobiele middelen. Centraal binnen deze omgeving staat een computer waarop een speciaal ingericht Linux-besturingssysteem draait. Dit systeem vormt een belangrijke schakel tussen het voertuig, verschillende technische voorzieningen en centrale systemen. Stabiliteit, security en beschikbaarheid spelen daarom een grote rol.
