Zin om je juridische expertise en kennis van commercieel recht in te zetten om klanten en collega’s te adviseren? Als Senior Legal Advisor Commercial bij VGD zoek je samen met het Legal-team een antwoord op juridische vragen van zowel interne als externe klanten. Je wordt hierin ondersteund door Legal Advisors en zorgt actief mee voor hun opleiding en integratie in het team. Enthousiast, leergierig en met een gezonde dosis ownership breng je dossiers tot een goed einde. Bovendien kan je door de ondersteuning van ons dynamisch team van gedreven juristen rekenen op een snelle leercurve.

Over de job

Als Senior Legal Advisor Commercial ga je aan de slag met het hele scala aan juridische zaken waarvoor familiale ondernemers op het vlak van commercieel recht begeleiding en advisering nodig hebben. Je taken omvatten onder meer het proactief en zelfstandig verwerken van dossiers, het sparren met collega's over op maat gemaakte oplossingen en het leveren van juridische expertise bij complexe vraagstukken, waarbij je de (Senior) Legal Managers op efficiënte wijze ondersteunt. Daarnaast ben je als Senior Legal Advisor het aanspreekpunt voor jongere collega’s en neem je voor hen de rol van coach op.

Concreet ziet je werkdag er zo uit:

  • Je coacht en ondersteunt onze Legal Advisors in de zoektocht naar antwoorden op juridische vraagstukken van klanten.
  • Je beantwoordt allerlei ad hoc-vragen en adviseert over het commercieel-juridisch luik, rekening houdend met het Wetboek Economisch Recht, met focus op de impact van B2B- en B2C-wetgeving op familiale ondernemers.
  • Je krijgt de verantwoordelijkheid voor de opmaak en het nalezen van diverse commerciële contracten zoals agentuurovereenkomsten, distributieovereenkomsten, franchiseovereenkomsten, aanneming, joint venture, enz.
  • Je adviseert vlot over diverse samenwerkingsovereenkomsten zoals dienstverlenings- en managementovereenkomsten en bereidt deze voor.
  • Je bereidt voor, actualiseert of zorgt voor het nazicht van algemene voorwaarden en/of andere commerciële juridische documenten.
  • Je bent een intern en extern aanspreekpunt voor juridische vraagstukken en dossiers.
  • Je krijgt de kans om persoonlijk met klanten aan de slag te gaan en goede klantrelaties uit te bouwen.

Over jou

Ben jij:

  • Thuis in de commerciële noden van de Belgische ondernemer?
  • In het bezit van een masterdiploma in de rechten? Een bijkomende specialisatie in het intellectueel eigendomsrecht is een plus!
  • In het bezit van enkele jaren relevante ervaring als jurist in het algemeen ondernemingsrecht, met in het bijzonder commerciële contracten?
  • Een doener met een open geest?
  • Iemand die graag kennis deelt met klanten en collega's?
  • Een initiatiefnemer die openstaat voor vernieuwing?
  • Een teamspeler die zich graag verdiept in uitdagende dossiers?
  • Vlot in de omgang, hulpvaardig en een echte adviseur?
  • Mensgericht, inventief en 100% betrouwbaar en discreet?
  • Geïnteresseerd in of heb je enige voeling met de regelgeving gerelateerd aan klimaatverandering en duurzaamheid van toepassing op ondernemingen (zoals ESG en CBAM) als extra troef achter de hand?
