Senior Manager Engineering (Facilities & Utilities) Amgen Breda, Netherlands What You Will Do As Senior Manager Facilities & Engineering, you will lead the strategy, performance and future development of Amgen Breda's Facilities, Utilities and Engineering organization. You will ensure our critical infrastructure remains safe, reliable and compliant while shaping the long-term roadmap that enables future site growth, operational excellence and sustainability. This role combines strategic leadership with operational excellence. You will build a high-performing multidisciplinary engineering organization, strengthen internal capabilities and lead the evolution of our facilities and utilities infrastructure to support a growing GMP manufacturing site. Working closely with the Site Leadership Team, Corporate Engineering, Procurement and strategic partners, you will translate business needs into engineering solutions that deliver long-term value for the site. Key Responsibilities - Lead, coach and develop a multidisciplinary Facilities & Engineering organization, including Engineering Managers, Maintenance Engineers, technical specialists, technicians and strategic service partners. - Define and execute the long-term Engineering, Facilities & Utilities strategy, ensuring our infrastructure supports future manufacturing growth, operational excellence and sustainability. - Own the reliability, compliance and performance of critical utilities and technical infrastructure supporting both GMP and non-GMP operations. - Develop long-term infrastructure, asset lifecycle and capacity plans aligned with the Site Master Plan and future business needs. - Provide engineering leadership and governance for capital engineering projects and major infrastructure investments. - Drive continuous improvement through reliability engineering, modern maintenance practices and digital innovation where it creates business value. - Lead the continued development o...
