In deze functie krijg je verantwoordelijkheid, zichtbaarheid en waardevolle ervaring voor een carrière bij DAF - Locatie Eindhoven (NL) - Afdeling Materials Management - Fulltime - Opleidingsniveau Bachelor - Contracttype Permanent contract Functiebeschrijving Als Senior Manufacturing Engineer Innovatie draag je actief bij aan de manufacturingstrategie binnen DAF Operations. Je krijgt de ruimte om verbeteringen en innovaties te initiëren, te begeleiden en succesvol te implementeren. Daarbij schakel je moeiteloos tussen managementniveau en teams in de verschillende fabrieken. Zo bouw je snel brede kennis op van de processen binnen DAF en vergroot je je netwerk binnen Operations. - Je initieert en leidt fabrieksoverschrijdende verbeter- en innovatieprojecten op het gebied van Production Engineering en Manufacturing, waarmee je direct bijdraagt aan de verdere ontwikkeling van Operations. - Je treedt op als adviseur en sparringpartner voor het management over de mogelijkheden van nieuwe processen, tools en technieken voor Operations. Daarnaast initieer en leid je Proof-of-Concepts om de toegevoegde waarde hiervan snel en concreet inzichtelijk te maken. - Je verkent en stimuleert de toepassing van Smart Manufacturing binnen Operations, onder meer door het uitbouwen van de Digital Twin en de inzet van de nieuwste technieken op het gebied van dataverwerking en AI. - Je ondersteunt en adviseert bij de toepassing en verankering van preventieve procesbeheersingsmethoden, tools en technieken - Je onderhoudt actief een breed netwerk van interne klanten, van operators en engineers binnen de verschillende fabrieken. Daardoor krijg je snel inzicht in processen, werkzaamheden en werkomgevingen en kun je verbeteringen doelgericht laten landen in de praktijk. - Je borgt en vergroot kennis en awareness op centra...
