Voor een innovatieve internationale machinebouwer in de regio Deinze zoeken we een Senior Mechanical Design Engineer. In deze sleutelrol werk je mee aan de ontwikkeling van geavanceerde machines en installaties, van het eerste concept tot de uiteindelijke oplevering.

Je combineert technische diepgang met creativiteit en bent betrokken bij het volledige ontwikkelingsproces: van conceptontwikkeling, engineering en prototyping tot testing, validatie en ondersteuning van productie.

Jouw uitdaging Je ontwikkelt innovatieve mechanische oplossingen voor complexe industriële machines. Dankzij jouw expertise vertaal je technische uitdagingen naar betrouwbare, efficiënte en produceerbare ontwerpen die wereldwijd worden ingezet.

Jouw verantwoordelijkheden Mechanisch Ontwerp

  • Je ontwikkelt innovatieve mechanische ontwerpen voor nieuwe machines en installaties.
  • Je werkt technische concepten uit tot volledig uitgewerkte productieklare oplossingen.
  • Je bent verantwoordelijk voor het volledige engineeringtraject, van concept tot vrijgave voor productie.

Productontwikkeling

  • Je begeleidt nieuwe ontwikkelingen doorheen alle projectfasen: concept, engineering, prototyping, testing, validatie en productie.
  • Je voert technische analyses uit en vertaalt resultaten naar performantere ontwerpen.
  • Je bewaakt kwaliteit, kostprijs, maakbaarheid en projectplanning tijdens het volledige ontwikkelingsproces.

Innovatie

  • Je neemt actief deel aan brainstormsessies en conceptontwikkeling.
  • Je ontwikkelt creatieve oplossingen om bestaande producten verder te optimaliseren.
  • Je onderzoekt nieuwe technologieën en materialen die de prestaties van machines kunnen verbeteren.

Samenwerking

  • Je werkt nauw samen met R&D, productie, aankoop, projectmanagement en leveranciers.
  • Je stemt technische oplossingen af met interne en externe stakeholders.
  • Je ondersteunt de productie tijdens de implementatie van nieuwe ontwerpen.

Je beschikt over een masterdiploma in Elektromechanica, Mechanical Engineering of een vergelijkbare technische richting. Je hebt minstens 10 jaar ervaring als Mechanical Design Engineer binnen machinebouw of een vergelijkbare technische omgeving. Je hebt ruime ervaring met het ontwerpen van complexe mechanische systemen. Je beschikt over een brede technische kennis, onder meer op het vlak van:

  • mechanica;
  • thermodynamica;
  • stromingsleer;
  • FEA-simulaties;
  • elektrische integratie binnen machines.

Je bent analytisch sterk en denkt conceptueel. Je neemt verantwoordelijkheid op en werkt zelfstandig. Je bent ondernemend, innovatief en voortdurend op zoek naar technische verbeteringen. Je communiceert vlot in het Nederlands en Engels.
