Als Senior Mechanical Engineer Machinebouw ontwikkel je technische oplossingen voor geautomatiseerde productie- en logistieke processen. Je krijgt veel vrijheid om concepten uit te werken, bestaande machines te verbeteren en jouw ideeën daadwerkelijk terug te zien in de praktijk. Wat ga je doen? Als Senior Mechanical Engineer Machinebouw werk je voor onze opdrachtgever aan machines en geautomatiseerde systemen voor de agro- en foodsector. Je bent vanaf het ontwerp betrokken bij projecten en vertaalt technische eisen naar betrouwbare en maakbare oplossingen. Met 3D CAD werk je nieuwe machineconcepten, constructies en onderdelen uit en zorg je voor duidelijke technische tekeningen. Je denkt zelfstandig na over oplossingen voor specifieke klantvragen en houdt daarbij rekening met kwaliteit, kosten en maakbaarheid. Ook verbeter je bestaande machines en draag je nieuwe technische ideeën aan. Je bent betrokken bij het volledige traject van engineering tot realisatie in de werkplaats. Daarbij schakel je met projectleiders, andere engineers, inkoop en specialisten binnen de productie. Je beoordeelt ontwerpen kritisch, lost complexe technische vraagstukken op en bewaakt de kwaliteit van jouw engineeringwerk. Vanuit jouw ervaring denk je verder dan alleen de technische tekening en kijk je naar de werking van de complete machine of productielijn. Zo lever je een belangrijke bijdrage aan machines die productieprocessen wereldwijd slimmer, efficiënter en betrouwbaarder maken.
