Als Senior Netwerk Engineer werk je aan bedrijfskritische LAN- en WAN-infrastructuren voor een grote overheidsorganisatie. Je vertaalt netwerkontwerpen naar stabiele, veilige en schaalbare configuraties en fungeert als technisch expert binnen jouw domein. Over de functie Als Senior Netwerk Engineer werk je in een multidisciplinair team aan het ontwerpen, implementeren en beheren van enterprise netwerk- en datacenteromgevingen. Je bent betrokken bij het volledige traject: van ontwerp en implementatie tot beheer, optimalisatie en troubleshooting. De omgevingen zijn complex, bedrijfskritisch en continu in ontwikkeling. Je richt je met name op Datacenter LAN, core switching en routing, waarbij performance, beschikbaarheid en security centraal staan. Daarnaast speel je een belangrijke rol in projectimplementaties, proof-of-concepts en het voorbereiden van netwerkomgevingen op go-live en beheer. Jouw verantwoordelijkheden - Ontwerpen en implementeren van LAN- en WAN-netwerkoplossingen - Bouwen en beheren van Datacenter LAN-omgevingen - Vertalen van netwerkontwerpen naar werkende configuraties - Fungeren als tweede- en derdelijns expert voor netwerkvraagstukken - Bewaken en optimaliseren van performance, beschikbaarheid en security - Analyseren van complexe netwerkincidenten en aandragen van structurele verbeteringen - Samenwerken met development- en projectteams bij technische implementaties - Coördineren met leveranciers voor hardware- en software-implementaties - Uitvoeren van projectplanning, kostenanalyse en proof-of-concepts - Ontwerpen en implementeren van IP- en VOIP-netwerkoplossingen Wat biede...
