Senior Netwerk Engineer UMC Utrecht · Standplaats: Utrecht · 29 juli 2026 Van het campusnetwerk en draadloze infrastructuur tot ons datacenternetwerk en loadbalancing-oplossingen: jij zorgt ervoor dat alles betrouwbaar, veilig en toekomstbestendig blijft functioneren. Dit ga je doen Als Senior Netwerk Engineer ben jij één van de technische experts die verantwoordelijk is voor het ontwerpen, beheren en verder ontwikkelen van de netwerkinfrastructuur van het UMC Utrecht. Je werkt aan een complexe enterprise-omgeving waarin beschikbaarheid, veiligheid en continuïteit van levensbelang zijn. Naast je rol als technisch specialist ben je een sparringpartner voor collega's, begeleid je junior en medior engineers en lever je een belangrijke bijdrage aan innovatie- en infrastructuurprojecten. Je werkzaamheden: - Ontwerpen, implementeren en beheren van complexe enterprise-netwerkinfrastructuren. - Verantwoordelijk zijn voor de stabiliteit, beschikbaarheid en beveiliging van LAN-, WAN-, WLAN- en datacenternetwerken. - Beheren en optimaliseren van loadbalancing-oplossingen. - Oplossen van complexe netwerkstoringen en uitvoeren van root cause analyses. - Adviseren over technische verbeteringen en bijdragen aan de netwerkarchitectuur. - Uitvoeren van software-upgrades, lifecycle management en configuratiewijzigingen. - Technisch aanspreekpunt zijn binnen projecten voor nieuwe netwerkdiensten en infrastructuren. - Coachen en begeleiden van junior en medior netwerkengineers. - Ondersteunen van de Solution architecten binnen infrastructuur. - Opstellen en onderhouden van technische documentatie en werkinstructies. - Deelnemen aan bereikbaarheidsdiensten om de 24/7 continuïteit van het netwerk te waarborgen.
