Voor een innovatieve internationale machinebouwer in de regio Deinze zoeken we een Senior PLC Automation Engineer. In deze sleutelrol neem je de technische verantwoordelijkheid op voor de automatisering van complexe machinebouwprojecten. Je ontwikkelt PLC- en SCADA-oplossingen, ondersteunt internationale installaties en werkt nauw samen met projectmanagers, electrical engineers en software engineers.

Je combineert diepgaande technische expertise met een pragmatische hands-on aanpak en krijgt de ruimte om mee richting te geven aan de verdere ontwikkeling van onze automatiseringsstandaarden.

Jouw uitdaging Je bent verantwoordelijk voor de automatisering van geavanceerde industriële machines, van concept en programmatie tot testing, opstart en optimalisatie. Dankzij jouw ervaring zorg je ervoor dat machines wereldwijd betrouwbaar en efficiënt functioneren.

Jouw verantwoordelijkheden PLC & SCADA Engineering

  • Je ontwikkelt en programmeert PLC-software voor complexe industriële machines.
  • Je ontwerpt, optimaliseert en onderhoudt SCADA-oplossingen voor visualisatie en machinebediening.
  • Je stelt functionele beschrijvingen op of werkt bestaande ontwerpen verder uit.
  • Je bepaalt samen met de electrical engineer en projectmanager de meest geschikte PLC-, netwerk- en automatiseringsarchitectuur.

Testing & Commissioning

  • Je voert de functionele eindtesten uit vóór levering van de machines.
  • Je ondersteunt de installatie, opstart en ingebruikname van machines bij klanten wereldwijd.
  • Je begeleidt upgrades, technische verbeteringen en service-interventies op bestaande installaties.

Technische Expertise

  • Je adviseert projectteams over automatiseringsconcepten en technische keuzes.
  • Je werkt mee aan de verdere standaardisatie van PLC-software en automatiseringsprocessen.
  • Je analyseert complexe technische problemen en ontwikkelt duurzame oplossingen.

Samenwerking

  • Je werkt nauw samen met projectmanagement, engineering, softwareontwikkeling en elektrische engineering.
  • Je ondersteunt collega's met jouw technische expertise en draagt actief bij aan kennisdeling binnen het team.
  • Je beschikt over een masterdiploma in Elektrotechniek, Automatisering of een vergelijkbare technische richting.
  • Je hebt minstens 10 jaar ervaring als Automation Engineer binnen machinebouw of industriële automatisering.
  • Je hebt ruime ervaring met Siemens PLC-programmatie (TIA Portal, Step7).
  • Ervaring met minstens één bijkomend PLC-platform zoals Rockwell, Beckhoff, Mitsubishi of Schneider is een belangrijke troef.
  • Je bent vertrouwd met SCADA-systemen zoals WinCC, Wonderware of iFIX.
  • Je kan elektrische schema's lezen en interpreteren.
  • Kennis van servotechnologie en motion control vormt een meerwaarde.
  • Ervaring met programmeertalen zoals C#, .NET, C++ of SQL is mooi meegenomen.
  • Je bent analytisch sterk, werkt zelfstandig en behoudt het overzicht binnen complexe projecten.
  • Je combineert een hands-on mentaliteit met een klantgerichte aanpak.
  • Je communiceert vlot in het Nederlands en Engels.
  • Je bent bereid om ongeveer 30% internationaal te reizen.
