Bij een internationale leverancier van logistieke automatiseringssystemen in Veghel werk je aan de besturing van systemen voor luchthavens. Als Senior PLC Engineer ondersteun je wereldwijde projecten waarbij standaardproducten moeten worden aangepast aan specifieke projecteisen. Je vertaalt die eisen naar besturingsfunctionaliteit, projectbibliotheken en tooling voor softwaregeneratie. Daarbij kijk je niet alleen naar de technische werking, maar ook naar uitvoeringskosten, onderhoudbaarheid en een beheerste overdracht aan serviceteams. In de dagelijkse praktijk werk je samen met hardware-, controls- en technologieteams in Europa en het Midden-Oosten. Je adviseert over ontwerpkeuzes, verbetert standaardwerkwijzen en ondersteunt inbedrijfstelling en eindtesten op locatie. Siemens TIA Portal en softwaregeneratie op basis van XML vormen belangrijke technische aanknopingspunten. Je rapporteert aan de Project Manager Engineering en deelt voortgang en praktijkervaringen met je collega's. Via internationale projecten en opleidingsfaciliteiten verdiep je je kennis van standaardisatie, tooling en industriële besturing. Functie-inhoud - Projecteisen vertalen naar een multidisciplinaire decompositie en besturingsfunctionaliteit - Functionaliteit implementeren in projectbibliotheken en standaardtooling voor softwaregeneratie - Projectteams adviseren over ontwerpkeuzes bij afwijkingen van standaardproducten - Engineeringomgevingen helpen inrichten voor gecontroleerde oplevering en overdracht aan Service - Inbedrijfstelling en eindtesten op internationale projectlocaties ondersteunen - Standaardwerkwijzen verbeteren met feedback en best practices uit projecten - Voortgang, deadlines en mijlpalen bewaken en hierover rapporteren Functie-eisen - Afgeronde hbo-opleiding Mechatronica, Elektrotechniek, Industriële Automatisering, Informatica of Besturingstechniek - Ervaring op seniorniveau met PLC-applicaties en Siemens TIA Portal - Sterke interesse in productiviteitstooling en softw.
