The posting

Bij een technische projectorganisatie in de industriële procesautomatisering werk je als Senior Process Automation & Control Engineer aan de veilige en optimale besturing van fabrieken. Vanuit de regio Den Haag neem je deel aan tijdelijke, veelal regiogebonden projectteams. Je vertaalt industriële processen naar functionele en technische ontwerpen en implementeert besturingsmodellen, databases en operatorinterfaces. Daarbij werk je met DCS, PLC, SCADA en procesinformatiesystemen, afhankelijk van de toepassing bij de klant. In de dagelijkse praktijk stem je ontwerpkeuzes af met je projectteam en de medewerkers van de klant. Je interpreteert procesinformatie, maakt de bediening inzichtelijk voor operators en bewaakt de samenhang tussen proces en besturing. Als ervaren engineer coach je minder ervaren collega’s en neem je zelfstandig technische beslissingen. Je krijgt ruimte om initiatief te nemen en je verder te ontwikkelen richting lead engineering, projectleiding, projectmanagement of technisch consultancywerk. Functie-inhoud - Industriële processen vertalen naar functionele en technische ontwerpen - Besturingsmodellen uit het technisch ontwerp implementeren in DCS- en/of PLC-systemen - Databases en procesinformatiesystemen inrichten voor procesbesturing en inzicht - Operatorinterfaces bouwen waarmee operators het proces veilig kunnen bedienen - Technische keuzes afstemmen met collega’s en medewerkers van de klant - Minder ervaren engineers coachen bij ontwerp en implementatie Functie-eisen - Een hbo- of wo-opleiding in automatisering, proces-, meet- en regeltechniek of een verwante technische richting - Relevante ervaring met industriële procesautomatisering en zelfstandig engineeringwerk - Ervaring met DCS, PLC, SCADA en/of procesinformatiesystemen - Affiniteit met geautomatiseerde industriële processen en een klantgerichte instelling - Goede beheersing van het Nederlands en Engels, mondeling en schriftelijk - Je luistert zorgvuldig, interpreteert technische in.
