The posting

Als Senior Process Control Engineer ben je verantwoordelijk voor het analyseren, ontwerpen en specificeren van besturings- en beveiligingsfuncties binnen complexe procesinstallaties. Je richt je op het optimaliseren van de procesvoering en het verhogen van de veiligheid door middel van doordachte automatiseringsoplossingen.

Je werkt nauw samen met procesingenieurs, klanten en leveranciers van besturingssystemen om efficiënte en veilige processen te realiseren. Daarnaast lever je input voor technische ontwerpdocumentatie en neem je deel aan diverse veiligheidsstudies.

Jouw takenpakket omvat onder andere:

  • Opstellen van functionele specificaties voor DCS- en safety-systemen.
  • Meewerken aan het ontwerp en de optimalisatie van procesinstallaties.
  • Vertalen van procesvereisten naar passende automatiseringsoplossingen.
  • Ondersteunen bij het opstellen en verbeteren van P&ID's en andere technische documentatie.
  • Deelnemen aan risico- en veiligheidsanalyses, zoals HAZOP- en SIL-studies.
  • Fungeren als aanspreekpunt tussen klanten, engineeringpartners en systeemleveranciers.
  • Implementeren en configureren van technische oplossingen binnen industriële omgevingen.

Voor deze functie zijn we op zoek naar een gedreven en technisch sterke professional met een brede interesse in procesautomatisering en procesveiligheid.

Daarnaast beschik je over:

  • Een bachelor- of masterdiploma in bijvoorbeeld Industriële Automatisering, Elektrotechniek, Chemische Technologie, Procestechnologie, Meet- en Regeltechniek of een vergelijkbare technische richting.
  • Enkele jaren relevante werkervaring binnen procesautomatisering of industriële engineering.
  • Kennis van of ervaring met control systems, machinebesturingen, procesveiligheid en industriële processen.
  • Ervaring binnen sectoren zoals olie & gas, chemie, farmacie of waterbehandeling is een sterke troef.
  • Het vermogen om zowel zelfstandig als in teamverband te werken.
  • Goede communicatieve vaardigheden en een professionele houding tegenover klanten en stakeholders.
  • Een goede kennis van het Nederlands en Engels. Kennis van het Frans is een pluspunt.
