The posting

Voor een toonaangevende en financieel stabiele speler in de metaalsector zoekt Vivaldis een Senior R&D Medewerker die meewerkt aan de systeemoplossingen van morgen. Je ontwikkelt nieuwe producten én optimaliseert bestaande artikels, telkens met oog voor kwaliteit, maakbaarheid en efficiëntie. Je werkt zelfstandig of in team en rapporteert aan de R&D Manager.

Jouw takenpakket:

  • Ontwerpen en uitwerken van nieuwe product-/systeemconcepten en verbeteringen
  • Afstemmen van ontwerpen op kostprijs, productiemethodes, verwerkingssnelheid, ergonomie en kwaliteit
  • Technische uitwerking in CAD (o.a. AutoCAD, eventueel Inventor)
  • Meedenken over en ondersteunen bij sterkteberekeningen en technische onderbouwing
  • Samenwerken met ontwerp- en productiecollega’s om oplossingen praktisch implementeerbaar te maken
  • Binnen deze rol krijg je ruimte om initiatief te nemen en door te groeien in expertise, projectverantwoordelijkheid en productstrategie.

Je bent een ervaren productontwikkelaar die trots is op sterke ontwerpen én verantwoordelijkheid opneemt om oplossingen verder te verfijnen. Je combineert creativiteit met technische diepgang en communiceert vlot met verschillende stakeholders. Ervaring in de metaalsector/non-ferro is een must.

Je brengt mee:

  • Diploma bij voorkeur Industrieel Ingenieur (optie Industrieel Ontwerpen) of ProductontwikkelaarOok ingenieurs of kandidaten met een architectuurgerichte opleiding en duidelijke affiniteit met productontwikkeling komen in aanmerking
  • Meerdere jaren relevante ervaring in een gelijkaardige R&D/ontwerpfunctie
  • Zeer goede kennis van Nederlands, en een goede kennis van Frans en Engels (Duits is een plus)
  • Goede kennis van AutoCAD (Inventor is een pluspunt)
  • Affiniteit met sterkteberekeningen en technische validatie
  • Soft skills: creatief, gemotiveerd, leergierig, communicatief en oplossingsgericht
