The posting

Van nieuwe aanplant tot 1.800 monumentale bomen: jij zorgt dat ze de juiste aandacht krijgen. Je bent verantwoordelijk voor het beheer en onderhoud van alle 100.000 bomen in de gemeente. Je kijkt vooruit en maakt plannen om het bomenbestand de komende jaren te vernieuwen. Ook ga je soms met bewoners in gesprek over hun meldingen of plannen. Zo combineer je jouw bomenkennis met contact met mensen.

Jouw werkzaamheden:

• Je maakt plannen, jaarplanningen en begrotingen voor het snoeien, rooien, herstellen en planten van bomen. • Je coördineert het werk en zorgt dat het bomenteam en aannemers weten wat zij moeten doen. • Je denkt mee over het bomenbeleid en hoe bomen helpen bij hitte en veel regen. Ook geef je advies over bomen bij renovatie en nieuwbouw. • Je geeft advies over kastanjebloedingsziekte en over wie verantwoordelijk is bij schade door bomen. • Je maakt samen met het bomenteam, andere specialisten en de beheerregisseur een jaarkalender voor het beheer en het bijhouden van gegevens. • Je bereidt opdrachten voor snoeiwerk voor en bespreekt deze met de directievoerder. • Je regelt samen met een inkoopadviseur en soms een projectleider aanbestedingen voor onderhoud en onderzoek aan bomen.

Je werkt 36 uur per week en start zo snel mogelijk. De opdracht loopt tot 1 januari 2027.

Functie-eisen: Jij hebt een groen hart en deelt jouw bomenkennis graag met anderen. Je werkt prettig samen, luistert naar collega's en staat open voor feedback. Bij een lastig vraagstuk zoek je naar een oplossing. Zie je een kans om iets te verbeteren? Dan pak je die op en neem je collega's mee. Je legt jouw ideeën helder uit en weet anderen te overtuigen.
