Jobomschrijving

Operationeel leiderschap

  • Dagelijkse leiding geven aan de outbound operatie binnen jouw afdeling.
  • Bewaken en realiseren van afdelings-KPI’s en waar nodig corrigerende acties ondernemen.
  • Supervisors coachen, ondersteunen en aansturen in hun dagelijkse activiteiten.
  • Prioriteiten bepalen op basis van workload, servicelevels en operationele noden.
  • Zorgen voor een optimale personeelsplanning in functie van de verwachte volumes.
  • Taken en verantwoordelijkheden binnen het team verdelen volgens de geldende procedures.

Teammanagement

  • Medewerkers coachen, ontwikkelen en begeleiden in hun professionele groei.
  • Een positieve, respectvolle en resultaatgerichte teamcultuur creëren.
  • Conflict- en probleemoplossend optreden waar nodig.
  • Aanwezigheden, afwezigheden en verlofaanvragen opvolgen.
  • Evaluatie- en functioneringsgesprekken voeren.
  • Veranderingsprocessen actief ondersteunen en uitdragen.

Continuous Improvement

  • Actief deelnemen aan en mee leiding geven aan Continuous Improvement- en Kaizen-projecten.
  • Processen analyseren en verbetervoorstellen formuleren.
  • Bijdragen aan een cultuur van efficiëntie, kwaliteit en klantgerichtheid.

Veiligheid, kwaliteit en compliance

  • Het goede voorbeeld geven op vlak van veiligheid, orde, netheid, milieu en kwaliteit.
  • Toezien op de naleving van veiligheidsprocedures en werkinstructies.
  • Ongevallen, bijna-ongevallen en potentiële risico’s onmiddellijk melden en opvolgen.
  • Ervoor zorgen dat alle richtlijnen rond kwaliteit, veiligheid en compliance worden nageleefd.

Voor een toonaangevende internationale logistieke organisatie zijn wij op zoek naar een ervaren Senior Shift Supervisor Outbound. In deze sleutelrol ben je verantwoordelijk voor de dagelijkse aansturing van een operationeel team binnen een hoog geautomatiseerde warehouseomgeving.

Je combineert sterk operationeel leiderschap met een hands-on mentaliteit en weet mensen te motiveren om samen ambitieuze doelstellingen te realiseren. Je zorgt ervoor dat klantorders tijdig, correct en volgens de afgesproken kwaliteits- en veiligheidsnormen worden verwerkt en verzonden.

Daarnaast speel je een actieve rol in verbetertrajecten en veranderingsprojecten om de efficiëntie, productiviteit en kwaliteit van de logistieke processen verder te verhogen.

Je bent een natuurlijke leider die vertrouwen en daadkracht uitstraalt. Je weet mensen mee te krijgen in verandering en behoudt ook onder druk het overzicht.

Daarnaast beschik je over:

  • Minstens 5 jaar ervaring in een vergelijkbare leidinggevende functie binnen logistics of warehousing.
  • Ervaring binnen een geautomatiseerde magazijnomgeving.
  • Kennis van WMS-systemen.
  • Sterke analytische vaardigheden en een resultaatgerichte mindset.
  • Uitstekende organisatorische vaardigheden.
  • Ervaring met personeelsplanning en operationele opvolging.
  • Het vermogen om zowel strategisch als operationeel te denken.
  • Sterke communicatieve en coachende vaardigheden.
  • Een hoge mate van integriteit, ownership en verantwoordelijkheidszin.
