The posting

Wij zijn op zoek naar een ervaren Senior System Engineer (3rd line) om ons Cloud Infrastructure Services team te versterken. In deze rol ben je verantwoordelijk voor het oplossen van complexe technische problemen, monitoring en systeembeheer van onze omgevingen, alsook de ondersteuning van CDX projecten. Je zal nauw samenwerken met tweedelijns support om ervoor te zorgen dat onze systemen optimaal functioneren voor de eindgebruikers en collega Senior Sytem Engineers.

Je staat in voor:

  • Beheer, monitoring, optimalisatie en onderhoud van de WINTEL omgeving: het beheer van zowel fysieke als virtuele servers om hun prestaties en betrouwbaarheid te maximaliseren alsook verschillende cloud omgevingen zoals Microsoft 365/ Azure/AWS etc.
  • Ondersteuning van tweedelijns support bij complexe incidenten en escalaties: Bied deskundige ondersteuning en expertise bij het oplossen van technische problemen die niet door tweedelijns support kunnen worden afgehandeld.
  • Algemeen beheer van laptops en desktops: In samenwerking met de Modern Workplace Expert zorg je voor het beheer en onderhoud van eindgebruikersapparatuur om een soepele werking te garanderen.
  • Proactief meedenken over en meewerken aan verbeteringen en optimalisaties: Identificeer kansen voor verbetering en optimalisatie binnen de infrastructuur en werk samen met collega’s en externe partijen om deze te realiseren.

Deze rol biedt autonomie, verantwoordelijkheid en afwisseling. Je werkt zelfstandig maar kan altijd rekenen op de steun van collega’s waar nodig.

Technische expertise:

  • Je bent ervaren met cloudplatforms zoals AWS & Azure, en Microsoft 365.
  • Je hebt diepgaande kennis van besturingssystemen zoals Windows Server & Windows 11, alsook van andere componenten zoals Microsoft Active Directory/Entra AD, DHCP, DNS, DFS, Intune, Powershell etc.
  • Je begrijpt databasebeheer, Microsoft SQL en gerelateerde technologieën.
  • Je hebt een gevorderde kennis van netwerk- en cloudconcepten.

Ervaring & vaardigheden:

  • Je hebt ervaring met monitoringtools en loggingtechnieken voor proactief beheer van systemen.
  • Je bent vertrouwd met server setups, migraties en het implementeren van updates/bugfixes.
  • Je hebt een gevorderde kennis van Active Directory, Azure, Windows Server en virtualisatie.
  • Je hebt ervaring met kernsystemen zoals Vmware, Hyper-V, serverhardware en back-upsystemen.
  • Ownership, analyse en probleem oplossende skills zijn je belangrijkste troeven
  • Delen van je expertise met en begeleiden van tweedelijnssupport collega’s
  • Security is een must have: implementatie en naleving van beveiligingsmaatregelen

Communicatie:

  • Je communiceert vlot in het Nederlands en Engels.
