Ben jij een ervaren IT-tester met een sterke technische achtergrond en een passie voor kwaliteit? Als Senior Testspecialist neem je een trekkende rol op binnen complexe IT-projecten. Je combineert diepgaande kennis van functioneel testen met technische expertise in SQL, SOAP UI, XML en DevOps. Je bewaakt de kwaliteit van oplossingen, adviseert over teststrategieën en begeleidt collega’s in een omgeving waarin zowel Agile/Scrum als waterval wordt toegepast.

Functie omschrijving

  • Je analyseert technische ontwerpdocumenten, requirements en if/then/else-logica en vertaalt deze naar kwalitatieve testscenario’s en testgevallen.
  • Je voert functionele en technische testen uit met SOAP UI, XML en SQL, inclusief het schrijven en uitvoeren van eenvoudige en complexe SQL-queries.
  • Je bewaakt de kwaliteit van producten gedurende de volledige levenscyclus en daagt oplossingen kritisch uit, onder meer bij integraties met de main branch.
  • Je analyseert defecten, bepaalt prioriteiten en zorgt voor een correcte opvolging tot aan de oplossing.
  • Je adviseert testcoördinatoren, testmanagers en projectteams over testtechnieken, testdekking en het optimaliseren van testprocessen.
  • Je neemt het voortouw in kennisdeling, overleg en coaching en werkt nauw samen met functionele analisten, Domain Leads en andere stakeholders.
  • Je hebt minimaal 5 jaar aantoonbare ervaring als testspecialist en minstens 7 jaar ervaring als functioneel tester binnen complexe IT-omgevingen.
  • Je hebt ruime ervaring met testscenario’s, formele testmethoden en -technieken en beschikt over een sterk analytisch en kritisch denkvermogen.
  • Je hebt aantoonbare expertise in SOAP UI, XML, SQL, DevOps en VBScript, inclusief het schrijven en uitvoeren van complexe SQL-queries.
  • Je hebt ervaring met de watervaltestmethodologie en bij voorkeur met Agile/Scrum-projecten en testautomatisering.
  • Je hebt ervaring binnen de Belgische energiesector en beschikt over kennis van relevante klantgerichte processen en domeinen.
  • Je beschikt over een ISTQB Foundation-certificaat of hoger, communiceert vlot in het Engels (min. C1) en beheerst Nederlands of Frans op minimaal C1-niveau.
