Jij bekijkt hoe het verkeer loopt, wat er mogelijk is en welke maatregel het beste werkt voor reizigers én voor de dienstregeling. Als (senior) verkeersspecialist openbaar vervoer zorg je dat het OV blijft rijden, ook wanneer de stad verandert. Je schakelt met collega's en partners in de stad en maakt plannen die uitvoerbaar zijn voor bus, tram en metro. Dit ga je doen Je beoordeelt plannen voor werkzaamheden, evenementen of nieuwe bouwprojecten en vertaalt deze naar maatregelen die passen bij het OV. Je maakt analyses, denkt vooruit en bespreekt voorstellen met collega's, de gemeente en andere partijen in de stad. Je werkt aan tijdelijke aanpassingen, maar ook aan grote projecten zoals nieuwe tramlijnen of de herinrichting van belangrijke straten. Ook ga je zelf op pad om evenementen of werkzaamheden te bekijken of om nieuwe infrastructuur te testen. Als senior verkeersspecialist neem je daarnaast de regie en leiding bij complexere projecten. Je stelt projectplannen op, bewaakt de voortgang, stelt offertes op en zorgt dat afspraken worden nageleefd. Je vertegenwoordigt het OVbelang in overleggen en voert onderhandelingen met interne en externe partijen. Je overziet de complexiteit, dynamiek en samenhang tussen projecten. Je signaleert knelpunten en voert regie om dit voor GVB optimaal te organiseren. Je komt met voorstellen voor verbeteringen in processen of samenwerking.
