HBO Specialistisch verpleegkundigen - Verpleging en verzorging 28 - 36 uur FWG 50 Van de zorg voor een patiënt rondom een neurochirurgische operatie tot het coördineren van de afdeling tijdens je dienst. Als senior verpleegkundige op Neurochirurgie & Kortverblijf in HMC Westeinde houd je overzicht, ondersteun je collega's en blijf je zelf betrokken bij de patiëntenzorg. Wat ga je doen? Je begeleidt patiënten rondom hun operatie, volgt hun herstel en verricht uiteenlopende verpleegkundige handelingen. Verandert hun situatie? Dan schakel je snel en zet je jouw klinische blik en ervaring in om te bepalen wat nodig is. Tijdens je dienst coördineer je de zorg op de afdeling en ben je een aanspreekpunt voor collega's. Je stemt af met artsen en andere disciplines en begeleidt leerlingen en stagiaires. Daarnaast kijk je naar wat er beter kan. Je signaleert knelpunten, deelt je kennis en helpt verbeteringen in de zorg en werkprocessen in de praktijk te brengen. Waar kom je te werken Je vindt Neurochirurgie & Kortverblijf binnen het HMC Neurocentrum in HMC Westeinde, midden in Den Haag. Hier zorg je onder andere voor patiënten met schedeltrauma's, wervelkolomproblematiek en hersentumoren. Ook verpleeg je urologische en algemeen chirurgische patiënten. Neurochirurgie is een speerpunt van HMC. Als neurocentrum voor de Haagse regio bieden we specialistische neurochirurgische zorg en ontvangen we ook acute patiënten. Daardoor krijg je te maken met verschillende ziektebeelden, verpleegkundige handelingen en zorgvragen. Samen met verpleegkundigen, senior verpleegkundigen, artsen, praktijkopleiders, leerlingen, stagiaires en zorgondersteuners vorm je een multidisciplinair team.
