Elke dag helpen we bedrijven om natuurlijke grondstoffen op een duurzamere manier te winnen en te verwerken. Dat doen we door slurry-oplossingen te ontwerpen, te onderhouden en te optimaliseren: technisch onderbouwd, veilig en met zichtbare impact.

Bij Vaikon werk je niet aan theorie, maar aan installaties die écht draaien in recyclage, mijnbouw, baggerwerken en industrie.

Je komt terecht in een technisch sterk serviceteam, waar zelfstandigheid, vertrouwen en samenwerking centraal staan.​

Jouw rol als Service Engineer

Als Service Engineer ben je een sleutelpersoon binnen ons serviceteam. Je staat in voor het zelfstandig uitvoeren van onderhoud, herstellingen, installaties en technische opstart van slurry-equipment, voornamelijk slurrypompen.

Je bent het eerste technische aanspreekpunt op de werf en bewaakt veiligheid, kwaliteit, planning en klantcommunicatie.

Daarnaast neem je een mentor- en buddyrol op voor Service Technicians en help je hen groeien in technische kennis, werkhouding en zelfstandigheid.

Je werkt:

  • vanuit Vaikon HQ in Lommel, én
  • on-site bij klanten in de BeNeLux

Je combineert hands-on technisch werk met verantwoordelijkheid, coaching en overzicht.

Wat ga je concreet doen?

  • Zelfstandig uitvoeren van preventief en curatief onderhoud aan slurry-equipment bij klanten
  • Demonteren, inspecteren, herstellen en monteren van installaties, zowel on-site als in de werkplaats
  • Installeren, testen, afregelen en begeleiden van opstarten en technische opstart.
  • Uitvoeren van technische diagnoses en troubleshooting (oorzaak–gevolg–oplossing)
  • Correct kiezen en inzetten van hijsmiddelen en veilige werkmethodes
  • On-site afstemmen met klanten rond veiligheid, vergunningen en werkafspraken
  • Nauwkeurig rapporteren van technische bevindingen, foto’s, metingen, tijd en onderdelen in Odoo
  • Ondersteunen en coachen van Service Technicians op de werkvloer
  • Actief meedenken over procesverbeteringen, standaardisatie en kwaliteit binnen service
  • Een voorbeeldrol opnemen op vlak van veiligheid, organisatie en werkhouding

Wie ben jij?

  • Je hebt een mechanische of elektromechanische achtergrond (Beroeps- of Technische opleiding of gelijkwaardig door ervaring)
  • Je hebt ervaring als (field) service engineer of senior servicetechnicus
  • Je werkt zelfstandig, gestructureerd en kwaliteitsbewust
  • Je neemt verantwoordelijkheid en voelt je comfortabel als technisch aanspreekpunt
  • Je communiceert duidelijk en professioneel met klanten en collega’s
  • Je haalt voldoening uit het coachen en ondersteunen van anderen
  • Je bent leergierig en wil jezelf technisch én persoonlijk blijven ontwikkelen

Extra pluspunten

  • Ervaring met slurry-pompen of rotating equipment
  • Ervaring met lassen • In het bezit van VCA (leidinggevenden) of bereid dit te behalen
  • Kennis van Frans
