In regio Roeselare kom je terecht bij een internationale machinebouwer die gespecialiseerd is in geautomatiseerde pick & place-oplossingen. De organisatie telt meer dan 100 medewerkers en is actief binnen een sterke nichemarkt waar technische knowhow en servicekwaliteit het verschil maken. Het serviceteam bestaat uit ruim 10 field engineers die instaan voor installaties, opstarten en technische ondersteuning bij klanten in binnen- en buitenland.

Als Field Service Engineer ben je regelmatig onderweg binnen een duidelijke servicezone, vooral in België, Frankrijk en Luxemburg. Je verblijft gemiddeld 2 à 3 nachten per week van huis, maar bent in het weekend altijd thuis. Zo combineer je technische afwisseling op locatie met een gezonde work-lifebalans.

Wat houdt de job in?

  • Als Service Engineer voer je preventief onderhoud uit aan roboticasystemen bij klanten in België, Frankrijk en Luxemburg
  • Je staat in voor de opstart en installatie van nieuwe machines en zorgt dat klanten vlot met de systemen aan de slag kunnen
  • Bij technische vragen of storingen analyseer je de situatie en bied je ondersteuning als second line helpdesk
  • Ook geef je opleiding aan lokale teams zodat zij de installaties correct kunnen bedienen en opvolgen
  • Op kantoordagen ondersteun je collega’s bij technische vragen, servicevoorbereiding en verdere opvolging van klantendossiers
  • Je hebt een bachelor of master in Elektromechanica, Automatisatie of een gelijkaardige technische richting
  • Bij voorkeur heb je enkele jaren ervaring binnen service, onderhoud, automatisatie of machinebouw; gemotiveerde schoolverlaters komen ook in aanmerking
  • Je hebt technische affiniteit, basiskennis van PLC’s of automatisering en geen bezwaar om gemiddeld 2 à 3 nachten per week op locatie door te brengen
  • Tot slot communiceer je vlot in het Nederlands, Frans en Engels
