In de regio Gent vind je een machinebouwer met 100-tal medewerkers dat op hun beurt onderdeel is van een internationale groep met meerdere sites wereldwijd. Deze organisatie ontwikkelt en levert geavanceerde oplossingen voor de voedingsindustrie, waarbij technologie en precisie centraal staan.

Hun systemen worden op maat gebouwd en wereldwijd geïnstalleerd. Als Service Engineer ben jij de schakel tussen productie en klant, en zorg je ervoor dat installaties perfect functioneren in de praktijk.

Wat houdt de job in?

  • Als Service Engineer voer je functionele testen uit op nieuwe systemen voordat deze naar klanten worden verzonden
  • Daarnaast ondersteun je installaties en opstarten van systemen bij klanten op locatie binnen Europa
  • Verder bied je technische ondersteuning aan klanten en los je storingen op, zowel vanop afstand als ter plaatse
  • Ook voer je onderhoud en interventies uit op installaties en werk je mee aan optimalisaties van bestaande systemen
  • Tot slot geef je feedback aan het interne team en ondersteun je bij testen, configuraties en verbeteringen van systemen
  • Je behaalde een bachelor of master in elektromechanica, automatisatie of gelijkaardig
  • Idealiter kijk je terug op een eerste ervaring in service engineering, automatisatie of industriële installaties
  • Vlotte kennis van het Engels & Nederlands en een klantgerichte, oplossingsgerichte ingesteldheid
