Ben jij een ervaren technieker met een sterke kennis van elektriciteit en mechanica? Sleutel je graag aan grote voertuigen en machines en haal je voldoening uit het oplossen van technische storingen? Werk je bovendien graag zelfstandig en ben je graag onderweg? Dan is deze functie misschien iets voor jou!

Voor een onderneming gespecialiseerd in de bouw en het onderhoud van huisvuilwagens zoeken we een ervaren Service Technieker voor de regio Oost- en West-Vlaanderen.

Als Service Technieker sta je in voor het onderhoud en de herstellingen van huisvuilwagens bij klanten. Je spoort technische storingen op en zorgt ervoor dat de voertuigen zo snel mogelijk opnieuw operationeel zijn.

Je takenpakket

  • Uitvoeren van onderhoud en herstellingen aan huisvuilwagens
  • Opsporen en oplossen van elektrische, mechanische, hydraulische en pneumatische storingen
  • Zelfstandig uitvoeren van technische interventies bij klanten
  • Analyseren van technische problemen en zoeken naar duurzame oplossingen
  • Correct registreren van uitgevoerde werkzaamheden en servicerapporten
  • Terugkoppelen van technische informatie aan de Service Manager
  • Zorgvuldig omgaan met gereedschappen, materialen en de servicewagen
  • Veilig werken en de werkplek steeds netjes achterlaten
  • Meedenken over verbeteringen op het vlak van veiligheid, gezondheid en milieu
  • Minstens 5 jaar relevante technische werkervaring
  • Zeer goede kennis van elektriciteit
  • Goede kennis van mechanica, hydraulica en pneumatiek
  • Ervaring met vrachtwagens, heftrucks, tractoren, automatische liften of gelijkaardige machines is een grote meerwaarde
  • Diploma elektromechanica of elektriciteit, of gelijkwaardige kennis door ervaring
  • Zelfstandig kunnen werken en verantwoordelijkheid durven nemen
  • Klantvriendelijke en communicatieve ingesteldheid
  • Goede kennis van het Nederlands én Engels
  • Goede pc-vaardigheden voor het verwerken van servicerapporten en technische informatie
  • Rijbewijs B is noodzakelijk, rijbewijs C is een pluspunt
  • Bereidheid om tijdens de opleidingsperiode op hotel te verblijven in de regio Genk
