The posting

AFB gaat op zoek naar een Service Engineer met focus op het onderhouden, opstarten, en optimaliseren van geautomatiseerde verpakkingssystemen en -technologie. Je werkt voornamelijk op je eigen serviceregio West- en Oost-Vlaanderen maar afhankelijk van de servicebehoefte werk je af en toe op andere regio's in België. Je vertrekt van bij jou thuis rechstreeks naar de opdrachten die zich afspelen binnen diverse industriën, waaronder de voedingsmiddelen-, farmaceutische en medische sector. Soms besteed je meerdere dagen aan een project, soms heb je meerdere opdrachten per dag. Zowel junior profielen als ervaren technisch talent komen in aanmerking voor deze job. Je start onder een meteen vast contract bij de werkgever.

Wat ga je doen?

  • Als service engineer sta je in voor de installatie, testing en opstart van nieuwe verpakkingslijnen zoals thermovormers, heatsealers en portioneermachines, dit bij zowel grote als klein voedingsbedrijven.
  • Je staat eveneens in voor het onderhoud op machines en verhelpt acute mechanische en elektrische storingen.
  • Je wordt betrokken bij optimalisatie- en modernisatieprojecten bij de klant.
  • Je werk is zowel mechanisch, elektrisch, elektronisch en pneumatisch van aard. Naarmate je groeit in de job kom je ook meer in aanraking met de PLC-sturingen en software van de machines.
  • Je geeft gebruikersopleiding over de werking en besturing van de machine.
  • Je hebt een technisch bachelor diploma zoals elektromechanica of elektrotechniek, of je bent gelijkwaardig door een relevante ervaring als service technieker industriële machines.
  • Ervaring met geautomatiseerde elektromechanische installaties is een sterke plus, maar ook pas afgestudeerden komen in aanmerking.
  • Je hebt een goede kennis mechanica, elektriciteit en pneumatiek. Kennis van plc-sturingen en elektronica is mooi meegenomen.
  • Je combineert je praktische hands-on aanpak met een goed technisch analytisch denkvermogen.
  • Je bent vooral technisch gedreven en wil verantwoordelijkheid nemen in een job als service engineer.
  • Je bent flexibel, kan zelfstandig werken, communicatief, en bent proactief in het oplossen van problemen.
  • Je beschikt over een rijbewijs B.
