The posting

Als Service Support Engineer word je een sleutelfiguur tussen de afdelingen automatisatie, service en engineering. Je volgt een uitgebreid opleidingstraject waarbij je alle gebruikte technologieën binnen het bedrijf leert kennen: van PLC-sturingen, frequentieregelaars en industriële netwerken tot takeltechniek.

Daarna bied je ondersteuning aan de servicetechniekers en help je mee technische kennis uit te dragen binnen het team. Je bent het eerste aanspreekpunt voor technische vragen, denkt mee in oplossingen en grijpt in waar nodig. Je ondersteunt zowel op afstand (telefonisch of via inloggen op installaties) als sporadisch op locatie (10%).

Daarnaast krijg je opleidingen in nieuwe systemen en technologieën die je vervolgens zelf overbrengt naar techniekers. Op termijn geef je ook feedback aan de ontwikkelingsafdeling om producten en processen te verbeteren.

Takenpakket

  • Je ondersteunt techniekers op afstand bij storingen, vooral van elektrische aard.
  • Je biedt technische ondersteuning aan klanten via telefoon, e-mail of remote login op installaties (PLC's, netwerken, enz.)
  • Daarnaast los je mee niet-standaard technische problemen op in het atelier of op locatie
  • Je staat in voor technische wijzigingen of verbeteringen aan bestaande projecten
  • Je leidt techniekers op in nieuwe technologieën of producten (opleiding worden je aangeboden door het team van engineering of automation)
  • Je maakt afstandsbedieningen klaar en leest ze in. Je staat daarnaast ook in voor de herstellingen
  • Je helpt bij de opstart van nieuwe speciale rolbruggen
  • Op basis van je ervaring uit de field, adviseer je de ontwikkelingsafdelingen om zaken te verbeteren.
  • Je hebt een diploma als bachelor of master in industriële wetenschappen of een andere technische richting
  • Je hebt dus een brede technische interesse met nadruk op automatisatie of elektriciteit
  • Je bent leergierig, analytisch en oplossingsgericht
  • Je bent klantgericht en communicatief sterk, ook in stressvolle situaties
  • Je hebt een basiskennis van PLC-sturingen en elektrische schema’s
  • Je werkt graag zelfstandig maar functioneert ook goed in een team
  • Je hebt een IT-mindset en voelt je comfortabel met softwaretools
  • Je bent bereid om occasioneel op locatie tussen te komen bij opstart of een interventie
  • Je vindt het geen probleem om op hoogtes te werken
