Als Servicemonteur Elektrotechniek ben jij degene die ervoor zorgt dat de elektrotechnische installaties op locatie blijven draaien. Je werkt op een vaste locatie en krijgt daarbij veel verantwoordelijkheid en vrijheid in de manier waarop je je werkzaamheden uitvoert. Je start je dag met het controleren en onderhouden van de aanwezige installaties. Je signaleert afwijkingen, voert inspecties uit en pakt technische problemen direct op. Bij een storing ga je zelfstandig op zoek naar de oorzaak. Vervolgens zorg je voor een passende oplossing, zodat de installatie weer veilig en betrouwbaar kan worden gebruikt. Ook kleine aanpassingen, reparaties en verbeteringen pak je op wanneer dat nodig is. Doordat je de vaste technische omgeving goed leert kennen, weet je wat er speelt en kun je steeds sneller schakelen bij problemen. Je hebt regelmatig contact met collega's en andere betrokkenen op locatie en adviseert waar nodig over technische zaken. Alle werkzaamheden leg je netjes vast en je zorgt ervoor dat er veilig en volgens de geldende voorschriften wordt gewerkt. Ook buiten de reguliere werktijden moet de techniek kunnen blijven functioneren. Daarom draai je volgens een rooster mee in de storingsdienst en ben je beschikbaar wanneer zich een urgente storing voordoet. Deze functie past goed bij jou als je graag zelfstandig werkt, energie krijgt van het oplossen van technische problemen en het prettig vindt om verantwoordelijkheid te dragen voor een complete elektrotechnische omgeving.
