Als Servicemonteur Elektrotechniek ben je verantwoordelijk voor het onderhouden, beheren en optimaal laten functioneren van elektrotechnische installaties binnen een complexe en dynamische werkomgeving. Je werkt op een vaste locatie waar technische installaties continu beschikbaar moeten zijn en betrouwbaarheid en veiligheid een belangrijke rol spelen. Je voert preventief en correctief onderhoud uit en houdt je bezig met het opsporen, analyseren en oplossen van storingen. Je werkt onder andere aan verlichting, verdeelinrichtingen, noodstroomvoorzieningen en bekabelingssystemen. Daarnaast voer je kleine aanpassingen en modificaties uit en denk je actief mee over technische verbeteringen en het voorkomen van toekomstige storingen. Een belangrijk onderdeel van je werk is het zelfstandig beoordelen van technische situaties. Je zorgt ervoor dat werkzaamheden zorgvuldig worden uitgevoerd en houdt rekening met de geldende veiligheidsvoorschriften en technische richtlijnen. Je registreert je werkzaamheden en bevindingen en zorgt voor een correcte administratieve afhandeling. Je werkt zelfstandig, maar hebt veel contact met collega's en andere technische disciplines. Bij complexe storingen overleg je waar nodig en werk je gezamenlijk aan een passende oplossing. Daarnaast draai je volgens een rooster mee in een storingsdienst, waarbij je snel en professioneel in actie komt wanneer zich een storing voordoet. Door de combinatie van onderhoud, storingen, technische uitdagingen en verantwoordelijkheid is dit een veelzijdige functie waarin je jouw elektrotechnische kennis dagelijks in de praktijk brengt en verder kunt ontwikkelen.
