Precies daarom telt jouw werk hier. Je gaat aan de slag bij een technische specialist in scheepsmotoren en maritieme aandrijfsystemen. De organisatie levert motoren en onderdelen en verzorgt onderhoud, service en complete revisies. De klanten varen vooral in de binnenvaart en zeevaart. Daarnaast wordt gewerkt voor offshore en andere maritieme toepassingen. De organisatie is al tientallen jaren actief in de maritieme wereld. Daarbij ligt veel kennis bij Mitsubishi Marine Engines. Naast conventionele dieseltechniek wordt ook gewerkt aan schonere aandrijfoplossingen en emissietechniek. Je komt terecht op een serviceafdeling met 18 servicemonteurs. Daarnaast werken er servicecoördinatoren en een servicemanager. De lijnen zijn kort en technische kennis wordt makkelijk gedeeld. De functie Dit ga je doen Als Servicemonteur Scheepsmotoren zorg jij dat motoren betrouwbaar blijven draaien. De ene dag werk je in de revisiehal. De volgende dag sta je aan boord van een binnenvaartschip. En soms verandert je planning omdat ergens een motor direct aandacht nodig heeft. Je werkzaamheden bestaan onder andere uit: - Onderhoud en reparaties uitvoeren aan voornamelijk Mitsubishi-scheepsmotoren - Complete en gedeeltelijke motorrevisies uitvoeren - Storingen onderzoeken en de technische oorzaak vaststellen - Inspecties uitvoeren aan motoren en installaties - Klanten uitleggen wat er aan de hand is - Advies geven om nieuwe storingen zoveel mogelijk te voorkomen Je werkt zelfstandig, maar grotere klussen doe je r...
